Inspired by nature. The innovative algorithm, high-quality brushless DC Inverter motor, and 7 fan blades bring the feeling of natural breeze to your space. The built-in lithium-ion battery in the Smartmi 2S ensures a cordless experience.
Up to 20 hours of cordless use
The fully charged battery supports up to 20 hours of cordless use, allowing you to place the fan anywhere you need. Beat the heat this summer by bringing a nice, gentle breeze to your space.
Durable and energy-efficient
The brushless motor significantly reduces kinetic energy loss, extending lifespan and improving energy efficiency.
Suitable height
The 96 cm design is ideal, whether you are sitting on the couch watching TV or resting in bed.
Brushless DC Inverter Motor
The brushless variable frequency DC motor, combined with carefully designed algorithms, ensures the smooth change of the fan's frequency, giving the sensation of authentic air, while simultaneously eliminating excessive noise and saving energy.
7-Blade Leaf Design
Compared to the 3 and 5 blade design, the 7 blade design reduces the intense air impact, allowing the air to pass through smoothly instead. The blade radius is optimized to save energy and provide high fan speeds.
Smart connection to "Mi Home / Xiaomi Home" app
The app can be used for remote deactivation of timer settings, control of the head tilt angle, parental control, switching between natural breeze mode and normal mode, etc. You don't need to get up from your seat to enjoy the comfort of the Smartmi Standing Fan.

The fan has a nice minimal design with good construction and its metal column gives it a premium feel. Its air flow is very good. It has multiple intensity levels and through the app, you can put it in various modes, successfully simulating even the feeling of a light natural breeze. It is relatively short and the height is not adjustable, but the head can take different angles and send the air where you want it, so I had no issue with that. Up to 50% speed, it is completely silent and the truth is that you may not need more. Close to 100%, it sounds like a truck, but it is understandable. The fact that it has a battery and you can move it to the room where you sit is a game changer and a tremendously convenient feature. Although expensive, it is worth the extra money just for that. Its autonomy at medium speed is over 10 hours, which means it easily covers a night's sleep. Charging is a bit slow and definitely takes 3 hours.
Now, on to the more mediocre aspects, I would perhaps like more operating options on the fan, apart from intensity and rotation, and definitely a battery level indicator. It is not possible to have to go to the app to see it. Also, for some reason, it no longer works with Google Home and Google Assistant does not recognize it. It is a known issue that Xiaomi does not fix. So, if you want to "talk" to it, forget it.
It does what it promises. It took me a bit to connect it to the app, because I had never used Mi Home before nor had I connected a device to it (about 10 minutes).
It seems to be of quality construction, it is quite powerful for 4-5 meters (at the maximum), for more than that I don't think any simple fan would do the job anyway. Convenient that it can work without a cable with its built-in battery. Quite silent, on the first speed you can't even hear it, on the 2nd you hear a rustle, on the 3rd and 4th it is audible but still quieter than others. For me, who wants to leave it on while I sleep at night on the 1st speed and has issues with sounds, it has solved my problem. From the app, you can adjust everything, rotation on-off, you can make it turn left-right until you find the position that suits you, set the timer for it to turn off by itself, adjust the brightness of the LEDs (bright, dim, off), perform a firmware upgrade, set whether it will make a sound when changing settings, and "lock" the buttons so that it can only be operated from the app (child lock).
As for negatives, I would like a slightly taller height, a slightly larger fan to cover a bigger area when I have it stationary (without rotation), and a slightly longer cable. None of these are bad enough for me to remove a star.
Expensive, I wouldn't call it vfm, but it can't be compared to the simple fans of €30.
Edit: All of this was true at the price of €93 that I bought it for a year ago. The €93 was already a lot but marginally worth it and I am satisfied. Right now I see €140+, which I consider prohibitive and I wouldn't pay that under any circumstances.
Edit2: A year later, everything is fine, but a slight noise has started to be heard a bit on the 1st and 2nd speed, nothing crazy but it's not like it was before. You only notice it in complete silence, otherwise you don't even pay attention to it. I don't know if it has any bearings inside, but that might be what is causing it.
Small, discreet, powerful, and beautiful fan!! As for the noise level;;; Personally, I was saved! I couldn't stand the sound of the fan at night! I love it! If it had a remote control, it would be even better! And there is no difference whether you have it plugged in or use it with its battery.
I got it and I expected to just regret spending some extra money. The battery helps you have air even without electricity and with the app, you don't even need to get up to change something. I have the Xiaomi Home app and I have many Xiaomi products inside and they all work perfectly. Note that you need a router to cover the positions because the conventional modem that your provider gives you does not allow you more than a few positions (hence many people have a problem and cannot connect). It also uses 2.5 internet and not 5G, obviously it has a simple transmitter-receiver.
Very good fan. It is a bit small in size but considering how economical it is in consumption. The program for natural air is very good and pleasant, although if you want intensity you will go to the normal program. The battery is very convenient, it lasts a few hours.
Very good fan! It blows the air as if a cool breeze is blowing from the balcony. It doesn't make noise like the classic fans. Another strong point is that it works without electricity because it has a battery.. It is also beautiful in design. The only thing it doesn't do is adjust its height, but it's not a problem as it has a good height. Convenient especially for a country house or for rooms without air conditioning.
I bought two for the bedrooms, they do a very good job, quiet, at low speed it feels like a breeze from the windows! If you want it stronger, you put it on a higher speed!! I highly recommend it.
Silent on 1 and 2. You leave it on top of you and it feels like a breeze outside. Strong on 3 and 4, like a regular fan. Very nice design. I've had it for 1 month. Worth it completely.
Powerful for its size, quiet at 50% of its power, purchased because it has a battery and is needed during power outages here. Although smart, it does not have an indication of how much battery is left, neither in the Xiaomi application.
1) The fan is quiet (compared to other fans and NOT compared to absolute silence).
2) The fan has the ability to be controlled from your couch or bed. Remember how it used to be when you had to get up to change the channel on the TV and then the remote control came along?
3) It has adjustable rotation angle (yes, through an app).
4) If you don't have a smartphone, don't want another app, and believe that there is a motor that operates with 0 dB generated sound, then don't get it.
I won't say much, I will only say that after I bought the amazing fan that has the option of natural air (like air from the window), I went to a friend's house and as I was sitting, I felt an incredible breeze behind me. I immediately turned around to see the fan that was creating this breeze because it was the same as what I feel when I open the Xiaomi. In the end, it wasn't a fan, it was a window. That's the kind of sensation this product gives you. You can't tell if it's a window or the fan
The worst purchase I have ever made on a fan, The reasons are:
A) It is not silent except on level 1 + 2 (which basically do nothing)
B) It does not have a button to rotate left or right (outside the application)
C) It is excessively short
D) The diameter of the blades is too small (they require high speed to do anything)
E) The column cannot be adjusted up or down
F) Without the application, you lose a lot (basically, they force you to have another application)
G) You have to create an account in the application, there is no Guest option
H) The Natural option that everyone talks about is basically just adjusting the speed (annoying because sometimes it's audible and sometimes it's not)
I) It does not have a battery indicator (you have to smell your nails, if possible)
J) When you have it on a low level, which is actually silent, you can hear the bearings if you are close (hopefully it will improve, otherwise it is unacceptable for its price)
K) The Wifi button has a good touch, but the button that opens and closes it feels like pressing foam, no feedback (couldn't they use the same switch as the one on the back for Wifi???)
L) The battery I tried on the second level, even though it was new, didn't last even half the hours they claim on the site
M) Another terrible flaw it has is that the Speed does NOT have 100 steps as many say, NOT EVEN CLOSE, the increase is not progressive at all, and to confirm this, set it from 50% to 55%, it's like jumping from slow to fast, in other words, each unit is useless, they should have had steps of 10-20.
N) The cable is ridiculously short (it's a fan, not a mobile device) And if you have an old house with sockets high up??? just forget it, you need an extension or another cable.
And finally, this is purely a matter of taste, personally, I didn't like this Bicolor design, White base + White fan with a Silver column (make it white like your blades)
It doesn't connect no matter how much I try with the WiFi, yes my router is on 2.4GHz, I tried with 3 different phones through the mi home, really a shame because that's the reason I bought it, UPDATE: I found a solution and connected by reading foreign forums, I entered mi home and in the settings I set the region to China, I turned my wife's phone into a hotspot with her mobile data, it connected me normally, I updated the fan's firmware from the settings, in the China region it prompted me for an update, I switched back to Greece region and now it connects to my home wifi normally, it's quiet and the app has many options, very convenient that it works without a cable for a few hours, although the cable is annoyingly short, okay it's a fan for gadget lovers, it shows good quality construction and takes up little space, it cools down nicely despite its not-so-big size, I hope I helped anyone who has connection issues
I haven't had it for long, but I can safely say that it is top in its category. 15w, it doesn't consume much electricity, quiet enough to have it on the 4th level and not hear anything at night. Just get it...
I bought it 3 weeks ago and I have to say the following. Aesthetically, it is excellent, I believe it easily fits in any space. It is small and convenient but not weak, it has the power of a fan twice its size. At 50% power, it is quiet and at 100% it is a bit loud. Nice, sturdy construction and relatively lightweight. It connects easily and the application works properly. Overall, I believe it is worth its money. Its negative aspect is the battery. Firstly, there is no indication from any means about the battery level, neither from the application nor from the fan itself. Secondly, the battery lasts for 4.30 to 5.30 hours in intense operation, not the hours claimed by the company. Okay, those are the hours it lasts, but they are not as many as Xiaomi claims.
So far, I have not been able to connect it to the application.. so I do not know the capabilities it offers through it. Without the app, it is a decent fan with 4 intensity levels, of which you can't even notice the 1-2.. until the 3rd level, it is almost silent and on the 4th level, it makes an acceptable noise. Very short cable and the battery, as everyone said, has no indication. It is not value for money. If I can't connect it to the app, I will return it.
(Update) It finally connected through the extender (I don't know how and why) and its operation is particularly pleasant. I slept very comfortably.
Good choice although a bit pricey. Its downside is that you can't see the battery percentage anywhere. Overall, it's a nice portable fan that cools the space well. If you exclude its portability and the settings from the Mi Home app, it's not much different from other fans. And you don't constantly change the settings from the app because it's just a fan! The good thing is that you can also control it from home assistant
Ok, a portable battery-operated fan, app-controlled, with a gentle sound! For €130, no, it's worth around €90 due to the battery, otherwise €70 due to the brand and reliability! A modern fan, nothing special! It's ok for gadget fans, especially if you are a Xiaomi home fan with vacuums, bulbs, etc!!! Not good, not bad. Average!!! "Regarding the classic battery indicator issue. Ok, it's a fan, you know that if you leave it for 4 hours, you will have battery for the whole night, so... No stress"!
I got it for the design, I consider it expensive for a fan, but if you set it up, you won't easily find the same features in other fans.
I think those who are crazy about gadgets will choose it, otherwise, you will get a simple fan.
One star is deducted due to the price, but otherwise, it's great, quiet, and powerful enough.
What can you say about this fan? Elegant. Minimal design. Small in size. Powerful. 100 speed levels through the app. Natural flow mode. Completely silent up to 50%. Timer. Battery autonomy is definitely one night at speeds around 25%. Control via the internet and with buttons.
On the negatives:
- Slightly noisy movement when rotating left and right.
- The use of the app is necessary, otherwise you miss out on a lot.
- The most important issue. IT DOES NOT HAVE A BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION, NEITHER ON THE BODY NOR IN THE APP! THE MODEL THAT IS AVAILABLE ABROAD HAS IT ON THE BACK OF THE STICK! WHY DOESN'T THE ONE THAT COMES TO GREECE HAVE IT! A TRAGIC OMISSION BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE A SENSE OF THE BATTERY'S CONDITION.
I am thrilled with this fan! It is a real gadget! From 0 to 60% (usually you don't need more than 60%) of the power, it is completely silent! So much so that if you have it in natural air mode (highly recommended!), you think you left the window open and it's blowing! The battery makes it so flexible: you can take it to any room you want, even in the yard if there is no wind, and it lasts for hours and hours! The app is perfect (almost), you can adjust the power from 0-100(!), timer, on/off schedule, rotation angle (in degrees, 0 - 30 - 60 - 90 - 120), normal or natural air mode.
The only downside: There is no indication of the battery status anywhere! Not even in the app!
Very powerful for its relatively medium size. Initially, it didn't impress me, but with the 100 different levels it offers through the app, you can definitely find what suits you. It's not meant to be used at a distance less than 2 meters. It's also extremely quiet, meaning you can sleep comfortably and feel like you have an open window, especially with the function that simulates natural wind. The only downside is the battery life, which is not enough to use it without a power outlet, but rather to handle a possible power outage. For example, at 50% power with the rotation function activated, it doesn't exceed seven hours (it is advertised for much more), and there is no indication of the remaining battery, so it suddenly leaves you without warning. An update of the application should include this.
Indication for the battery, I'm still looking for it. It's unthinkable for someone not to have the ability to see how much battery life is left. On YouTube, a similar model with the same code had an indication for the battery on the aluminum tube. What's going on here with our version? Stinginess...
Let me remind you of the price, 129.00€.
Although at first I had my doubts about how such a small fan can produce such a large amount of air, in practice things are completely different. The amount of air it produces is amazing and completely silent.
It connects very easily to your home's Wi-Fi network and all functions can be controlled through the mobile application.
The added bonus is that it has a built-in battery, so in case of a power outage, you have fan operation for a few hours.
