Dear student,

This particular book serves as an aid to the school textbook Modern Greek Language for the 1st Grade of Gymnasium. It was written with the educational objectives of the course in mind and aims to contribute to the learning of the modern Greek language in an adequate and functional manner. For this reason, each section of the book is divided into three parts, which contain:

- Part A: Detailed theoretical discussion of all grammatical and syntactical phenomena, as well as topics related to speech production included in the school textbook. For each topic discussed separately, appropriate texts and exercises are suggested for consolidation from the Student's Book and the Workbook, in order to meet the teaching requirements of the course.
- Part B: Detailed answers to the exercises in the Student's Book with exemplary discussion of speech production activities and useful information for managing the topics of interdisciplinary projects.
- Part C: Complete answers to the exercises in the Workbook.
