Description

The milk pot from the company Pal is a small utensil that is useful for boiling milk or water, you can also heat soup, melt butter and chocolate. It is handy due to its size and you don't need to dirty larger utensils for small quantities of food.

It is made of aluminum, a lightweight material, particularly resistant to rust and very quick to heat up. It has a non-stick coating to prevent milk or food from sticking to the bottom. To maintain the integrity of the coating, we advise you to let the utensil cool down before cleaning it and to avoid using cleaning wire. Prefer a soft, synthetic sponge. Additionally, it is compatible with all types of stoves (gas, ceramic, induction, electric).

  • I bought it through a big chain less than 2 weeks ago. I wanted a small pot as a second one, to boil water for my baby's bottles and other baby-related things. Based on the reviews on skroutz, I thought it was a good pot. I also have to say that it seems to be very well made: the lid with the rubber seal made it even more high quality. As for boiling water, it did well. Yesterday we boiled a little goat meat (pieces) since we started introducing solid foods. And we didn't put a little water (just to avoid any issues with burnt meat, etc). After yesterday's washing, I see that:
    1. the bottom has a white shadow (like the water from the boiled meat didn't completely come off)
    2. (and worse) on the bottom, as well as on the entire surface, there is a black coating material, let's say (I don't know what it is/called). In 2 spots now it looks somewhat blue. Like it faded a bit in those spots. Honestly, I don't know if it is safe to use anymore. And in such a short period of time, I find this experience highly unacceptable. It's a new pot for 17.50 euros. It was simply a wrong choice after all and I'm writing this review to share my experience. Could it have been defective? Okay, I don't think so. It's a pot, not a TV that you return as DOA if it burns, for example. So yes, a 1 out of 5 from me. and very wrong because it seems that the company hasn't checked it. If I said this after, for example, 6 months, then okay it happened with use. Here we are talking about less than 2 weeks (and mainly boiling water).

I use this small pot on an induction stove, and its size is the minimum that works with my kitchen. So, I bought it with the intention of using it as a coffee pot.
However, what I didn't think about is that it doesn't have a "lip" so that you can pour its contents into another container (e.g. cup, thermos, etc.), resulting in me not being able to put my tea in a cup without spilling half of it... that's why I give it 4 stars.
In terms of quality, it's okay, I have no complaints, I highly recommend it!

Very beautiful, but the 16 and 20 cm ones are not recognized by my induction hob.
I initially bought the 16, 24, and 28 cm ones. Both the 16 and the 20 that I bought later to replace it have exactly the same base diameter that touches the hob (!!) and it is 11.5 cm (photo 1, red line), which is smaller than the minimum required. The 24 and 28 are recognized just fine. For small pots, if you have an induction hob, first check the base if it exceeds the minimum recognized by your hob. I had to get a third small one (photo 2) where the entire base touches and is recognized.
BTW, the capacity in liters is not as stated. In the 16, it is 1.4 instead of 1.9 and in the 24, it is 4.3 instead of 6.6.
