Perennial, 20-30 cm tall, with elongated leaves and toothed, yellow flowers. The leaves are used raw as a salad and cooked like spinach. They have a strong diuretic action. In Greece, it is also referred to as taraxaco or pikralida. Available in a 0.3 g packet.
