Wash the black-eyed peas well and put them in a pot with water until they become tender. While they are boiling, prepare the sauce: Sauté the finely chopped onions in a pot with oil. Add the garlic, parsley, dill, tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and 1 glass of water and let the ingredients boil and become a thick sauce. When the black-eyed peas are ready, strain them. Put them back in the pot together with the sauce you have prepared, mix well, and let them boil together for a while. Serve in deep plates.
