Vines:

• 5 g/plant at planting or 20-50 g/vine with approximately 10 kg of water.

Stone Fruits:

• Especially Peaches-Apricots: 50-150 g/tree with 10-15 kg of water.

Pome Fruits:

• Especially Pears but also Apples: 100-300 g/tree with 10-15 kg of water.

Citrus:

• Small: 50-100 g/tree. Medium: 100-150 g/tree. Large: 150-250 g/tree. Application is done with 10-25 liters of water and immediate incorporation.

Tree Nurseries:

• Generally 5-8 g/seedling with 10-25 liters of water and immediate incorporation.

Ornamentals–Floriculture:

• In pots (Gardenia, Chrysanthemums, Begonia, etc.) In already moist soil, apply Sequestrene solution: 1 g/kg water. For Hydrangea 5 g/kg water. In case of heavy infestation, repeat after 8 days.

For Roses:

• 3-5 g/plant or 10-20 g/m2, generally.

For Ornamental Shrubs:

• (azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas): 10-20 g/plant, with watering.

For Ornamental Trees:

• 50-100 g/plant similarly.

Large Cultivation:

• Peanut: Foliar sprays with 5% SEKESTREN solution + wetting agent in a quantity of 30 liters of water/acre. 1-2 sprays.

Vegetables:

• Root watering with 50-100 g of 2% solution (2 g per kg of water), at each root, before watering.

For General Application:

• (over the entire surface) a medium dose of 5 g/square meter of soil surface is recommended.

The doses depend on the size and development of the plants, the intensity of chlorosis, and the soil composition. Large doses are for very developed plants, severe chlorosis, and heavy impermeable soils. Small doses are for small plants, mild chlorosis, or preventive applications and for very permeable soils (soils that require frequent watering). In these soils, instead of one application, 3 or 4 consecutive applications are recommended throughout the year combined with watering.

Application Time

For tree plants, apply at the end of winter so that the plants can benefit from the presence of iron to the maximum extent. In heavy soils, it is good to apply a little earlier.

Application Method

• The recommended dose should be distributed so that the entire root system of the plants benefits. Foliar application is not recommended except in exceptional cases and after a test application on a small scale: 50-100 g/100 liters of water, no more, especially for chlorotic plants. Generally, 3-4 sprays may be needed every 15 days. It is not suitable for crops sensitive to chlorine.
