  -3-3-2021- I have it very little in my possession, it is a very powerful tool, it cuts pipes effortlessly. There are no sparks, it removes burrs like a charm, the cuts are very precise. It requires a little attention to align the lines for angles, and I don't like that the clamp it has for pipes doesn't allow the pipe to rest on the base, it cuts it in the air. It's not dangerous because the clamp holds it tightly, and the blade cuts well, even though it's expensive - around €115 - it lasts a long time. The shock absorber rubber bands come off and there are no replacements available. Overall, though, it is a sturdy tool for someone who needs it for both outdoor and workshop use. I will come back with comments after using it for a little longer...

  There are 2 Evolution Evolution R355CPS circular saws, the new one has a new quick-release arbor, a sturdier base, and a redesigned guard. It is also more expensive, up to 100 euros. The upgrades are probably worth the higher price.

  In the older one that I have, the arbor is slow and damages the base. It doesn't inspire confidence in its stability. Due to my carelessness, I caused some damage to it. It is clearly stated on the base that you should not cut <8mm in the upright position. Strangely, I didn't see it. Respectfully abide by this prohibition. The teeth of this blade are not dense enough to cut below 8mm, it will chew it up and launch it, causing the guard to twist and breaking anything in its path, including a piece from the motor chassis. The cost of repair is as much as the new circular saw without the blade.

  However, apart from these issues, the circular saw is worth it compared to those with a grinding disc, especially the newer R355CPS. It cuts quickly, cleanly, with precision, even at 45 degrees. An even better choice seems to be the Evolution Raptor Evo355.
