The four childhood friends, Mackenzie, Parker, Lorel, and Emma, have set up the most successful wedding planning company, taking care of every detail. In fact, three of them have found the love of their lives and are preparing to get married, while it seems that the time has come to close the circle and complete the quartet.
Parker Brown is usually the one who takes the lead in the company. She has an innate ability to deeply understand and faithfully fulfill the dream of every future bride. The only thing she fails to do is to clarify her own dreams and find the courage to make them come true.
Malcolm Kavanaugh has the talent to discover how things work and recently he is determined to understand Parker Brown as well. As a good friend of her brother, however, he knows that there are certain boundaries and he will have to think twice before crossing them. He has also realized that Parker has never had a long-term serious relationship - something that pushes her into fleeting situations, where she refuses to invest emotionally.
