I didn't particularly like it, however it has a very good price for its quantity. It blurs the eyes, has a strong aroma like olive oil, and doesn't completely remove the mascara (regular, not waterproof). I have tried better ones but with a significantly higher price.
The reason I bought it is because it clearly has a larger quantity compared to the Uriage equivalent makeup remover oil. It does a very good job, and personally I even use it for facial care when I'm not wearing makeup, to remove any blackheads, dead cells, and then I use soap.
Good product at a very good price. I use it to remove (very) waterproof sunscreen as follows: use the oil to break down the sunscreen (either on the hands or on cotton), rinse with warm water, and then use a facial cleanser (preferably gel) to remove any residue. It has no scent and does not irritate the eyes.
It is the first step of cleansing. I do not know if it is effective for heavy makeup because I only use tinted sunscreen and mascara. I use lukewarm water and at the end a damp soft towel because it dissolves a little difficultly. Very good!
I bought it by chance because the pharmacy didn't have the Caudalie makeup remover oil that I use. Although the quantity-price ratio is very good, I can't say that I particularly liked it. Okay, it is effective in breaking down makeup, but it doesn't turn into milk when in contact with water and it is not easily removed. It definitely needs a gel cleanser afterwards. Also, it is very runny and it drips everywhere when you put it in your hand, but that's a minor detail. On the positive side, it doesn't have any added fragrance.
It is the best makeup remover oil I have ever used and I bought it randomly. Without artificial fragrance (I always avoid it because of acne). It is the best for the first stage of double cleansing. I always follow it with a water-based cleanser (for me, the Cerave hydrating cleanser). Of course, the oil requires gentle movements and patience in the eye area for obvious reasons, and in the end, everything washes off. It leaves the skin moisturized enough for a cleanser, it definitely does not dry out the skin... those who consider it not moisturizing enough are because they do not use a proper moisturizer after double cleansing. As for stinging in the eyes, I don't even open them when I clean my face, but even though I insist for several minutes on the eyes to remove makeup without pulling out lashes, I never felt any stinging. I highly recommend the product.
I didn't use it for makeup removal, only for waterproof sunscreen that I wear daily. It required a bit more rubbing than necessary to break down the sunscreen, however, the biggest issue was the packaging, which leaked oil when I traveled with it (meaning it didn't close properly). Overall, it is a very good product for its price
