The purpose of this work is to prove whether myths, which refer to the activities of gods, demigods, Hercules, as well as floods and other natural phenomena, have kernels of truth or not.
The contrast between myth and reality made by many is mistaken, as it is based on the false perception that all myths are fake. However, traditional myths are authentic, and this implies that they contain true events at their core, of geological, astronomical, and historical content, which are suitable for interdisciplinary research.
The kernels of myths can be proven through interdisciplinary means, as they are related to the natural sciences. Myths are spiritually and culturally palimpsests, bearing the marks of their own history, that is, the multiple levels of their use and crystallization. [...]
