As a term, "awakening" describes the intervention in a population of animals or plants with the aim of highlighting their characteristics that will make them useful to humans and allow them to dominate and control that population. It also implies the process by which someone appropriates the narrative of a traumatic experience of an individual or a group in order to transform it into a new narrative. This new narrative allows third parties who have not experienced the experience to have the illusion of participating in it.
