The M1 mini has arrived in my hands and I can say that it might be one of the best purchases I made in 2020. Apart from being made of good material externally, as a projector it is super convenient in size. You can put it in your bag, pocket, jacket, and start projecting. Its speaker, for the money, is quite good, especially in movies I noticed that the dialogues are crystal clear. The first test after a full charge was to try it with the Nintendo Switch and after two hours of continuous playing and projecting, the battery only dropped by one bar (about 20%). Reading previous comments, I can say that it is brighter than what I read and expected. I did not regret buying it at all

I needed it for teaching in the classroom. It is bright enough during the day in normal conditions, but if there are blackout curtains, it will be perfect! Did you find this review helpful?Small (dimensions 11cm x 10.5cm), literally fits in your pocket. It has an HDMI and USB port. It charges with MicroUSB and its battery lasts at least 2 hours without using the built-in speaker (JBL 2WATT, very good). You can connect it to the power outlet to charge it or use it as a power bank for your mobile phone. I connected a hard drive with movies via USB and it doesn't read subtitles.
With HDMI, you can connect it to a PC or a TV box (I connect it with the Xiaomi TV stick) and it plays everything. Attention, it doesn't have WiFi for mobile mirroring, nor can you do mirroring with an HDMI to TypeC adapter, I tried it.
It only has a focus adjustment, not zoom. So, at whatever distance you place it, it shows the corresponding inches (above 80 inches, you see pixels and the color deteriorates, I see red lines, etc.). It is very powerful and doesn't require complete darkness to see. If you have a white wall, you will see equally well, but I believe a screen is needed for better results.
If it had WiFi and an integrated TV box, I would recommend it, but without these two, it is only for a specific purpose, like having it behind the bed with a 10m HDMI cable to the PC.
With €160, you can get the Xiaomi Wanbo T2Max 1080p, which I believe is better as I have tested it.
Update: After so many months of use, everything is fine, but I have an issue with charging. I have it plugged directly into the power outlet with a 2-meter cable, and even though it shows that it is charging, after 2 hours or so, it turns off and on, meaning it doesn't charge even though it indicates it. I also tried with a power bank, same result (I have checked the charger and cables, and if it charges without projecting, and everything is fine).
