It is probably the most expensive mattress for years - when I bought it years ago, I did not know how good it is compared to all the others, and now I bought the same one again.

Its positives are that it has 6 heat levels, including one for immediate heating, but it is not for sleeping with it, it is prohibited, as it emits a lot of radiation.

Also, it is not meant to be placed on your head - be careful if you don't know this, it should be placed from the neck down - and the size is such that it fits from the neck down.

It has 3 timers that will automatically turn it off, which is very good not only to prevent it from working unnecessarily, but also to wake you up. (in 1 hour, 3 hours, 9 hours)

It is also one of those that consume very little because it regulates the temperature on its own and does not simply burn.

I have measured it with a low radiation meter and it shows no indication, so it is very good in this aspect as well.

It is very durable, the previous one I had still works almost despite the hardships, meaning it has a very strong internal resistance that does not break easily.

The sensation is very good and you may not even feel it, for example on the low setting, but it does the job.

Just be careful with the two controls, when you connect them to the power, you need to test to achieve the correct polarity (phase neutral) so that they are firstly the same between them, and secondly, if you feel any slight current touching you, you should turn the plugs, the polarity. What are you talking about, you might ask me, well, all these devices have a connection to the power, which can slightly pass through the sheets - it requires polarity tests.

  Bought against my wife's wishes, simply pulled it under the fitted sheet and worked it in the evening... she loved it! It is great that when it is under the bed sheet, nothing slips (IMHO, there is no need to have straps at each corner to attach it to the mattress (a complain of another reviewer).   Second year of use (fall-spring). Amazing product that is worth the money I paid. No more cold sheets and blankets, covers. Everything gets warm and creates a beautiful environment. It warms up almost instantly (2 minutes) and the bed becomes an oven in 15 to 20 minutes. You turn it off on the spot and go to sleep. I have cheaper ones for the kids and they have been begging me to get them the same ones. It is definitely worth it.

  All the positive comments of other reviewers are completely true, as the product delivers on its promises and appears to be of high quality. We bought it to replace our previous electric mattress pad, also from Imetec, which lasted us for about 7-8 years before it weakened in power, which is normal (it still works).

  The reason I am deducting one star is because Imetec no longer offers the option to choose a mattress pad with a better support system. The first one had rubber all around, and practically we never had to think about its position - it stayed where it should. This one doesn't even have the straps that some other mattress pads have. Depending on the type of mattress you have (and how quietly you sleep), it can move quite a bit. It's a shame: good construction/quality, bad design. We put it under a very thin mattress cover, which helps somewhat.

  1 star only because there is no good support/service from the dealership. If something happens to it like what happened to me and you contact them, it takes them 3 months for diagnosis and replacement of the product. I reached the point of contacting the "mother company" of the product and they had to communicate with the dealership here in Greece in order to complete the replacement for me... And as I mentioned above, all of this took 3 whole months. Personally, I do not recommend this specific product because it lacks proper after-sales customer support

  Very satisfied with the product, it heats up quickly and has many temperature settings. I just wish it would heat up the entire area as the heat doesn't spread around. You can feel it under the sheets, but it's not bothersome, at least for me. We use it all winter without any issues.   I got it and it was an excellent blanket. But it needed service and then I discovered what it means not to be served during the winter by the service. I handed over the blanket to the courier company on 16.1.24. They told me they would try to deliver it for return to the courier (it was under warranty and the problem was with the controls that can only be changed) and today, 24.1.24, no, I haven't received the blanket, but the technician hasn't even seen it.   I have been looking for an electric mattress pad for a long time. I read reviews from other brands, some good, some worried me, so I decided to go straight for a quality and more expensive solution. I don't know if it's worth the money, I have no experience with similar products in the past, but what I can say is that the electric mattress pad is a must-have purchase for anyone considering it. This particular one heats up quickly, has 6 levels, the 5th and 6th are for warming up. During sleep, you will need the first 2 levels, levels 3 and 4 will make you feel quite warm! If there's one thing I would like, it's an intermediate automatic shut-off time. It has 1 hour, 3 hours, and 9 hours. I think an intermediate option would be quite convenient.

  I have had an Imetec blanket for over 10 years and I am completely satisfied. The previous one I had was smaller, 140x150, and the sensation of the heating elements was sometimes annoying, especially on the high setting. With the Imetec Sensitive DD 16653 150x160, I don't notice anything like that, the heating is very even and it covers the entire mattress with a particularly good sensation on the feet. I highly recommend it.
