I bought it for 35 euros and I am very satisfied even though it is still early (I have had it for three days). The sound is fine, if it seems low to you, just press the up arrow during the call to increase it, it comes from the box at level 3 and goes up to 5. The reviews about low volume are probably due to ignorance or poor hearing. And the speakerphone works fine too (you can do the same there). It is very slim and I also like that it is very elegant in black. Perfect... I ordered one for my parents as well. It fits in the base from both sides, it protrudes out so you can easily pick it up. It uses rechargeable AAA batteries, so it is normal for their performance to decrease over time. The battery capacity is 300 milliampere-hours. If you want it to last much longer, you can find rechargeable batteries with 900 milliampere-hours and replace them, they cost around five euros. The buttons are large and have a good feel. Let's see how it will hold up over time...

Locks, has an open listening option, ECO option for lower power consumption, soft orange light on the buttons, a button that puts us on mute, nice menu, very nice design, nice sounds and also in case of power outage it has the option of charging with a portable power bank (mini USB) to have a stable connection in case of emergency! Very smart from Philips.
But: in Greek, the letter "L" doesn't sound good and generally the letters are a bit strange, the screen never turns off when it's on the base (or I haven't found out how), in Eco mode the corresponding point on the screen that says eco doesn't light up (I don't understand why), on the base the cables and the phone "look" towards the same side...
Otherwise, it seems like a very good phone and I believe that the negatives are details, but everyone judges for themselves and that's why I mentioned them, I am satisfied.
7/9/2022: everything is fine so far, I have chosen a cheerful sound, it uplifts my mood haha.
Also, in Eco mode, the indicator lights up when it's idle and turns off when I disturb its charging (lol), now it seems logical to me.8/11/2022: I am still very satisfied, its battery is satisfactory for me (but I don't talk on the phone for hours every day, just saying), personally when the battery bars are full, I leave it gently next to the table so that the little ones don't knock it down and break it. It has happened to us that it has completely discharged and shows a black screen, but we put it on charging and after a while it has two bars straight away. It doesn't seem unnatural to me. When it's charging, the screen is on and when I see three bars, I take it off the charger and place it next to me. Someone mentioned the base, I have never experienced that, as soon as I place it on the base, it makes the sound and the indicator light at the back turns on to show that it's connected and charging just fine. It has never happened that I put it and it doesn't do that, also its sound is quite loud when it rings (we have a 100 square meter house) BUT it must be placed on a table with the back facing to reflect the sound or with the screen facing downwards and the back free because the speaker is at the back and it has an angle in the design (now that I think about it, maybe that's why it has the angle, so it doesn't sit completely flat and doesn't sound). Specifically, one time we had forgotten it under a pillow and we couldn't hear it ringing, especially if you have the TV on full volume like me haha. In the end, overall it may be the nicest phone we have bought. I don't remember exactly how much we bought it for, I think it was around 40€ but I believe it's worth it (of course, if it was cheaper, even better, but you don't buy it every day, let it be) good purchases and good continuation.
Update 7/5/2023: we discovered that it can be placed upside down on the base (facing us, I mean) and it also has a button to find it under the base! I discovered it today! It actually has a quite short battery life, maybe it's made to always be on the base :/Translated from Greek ·- Sound quality
