Description

Rock, Blues or Funk, the Cort Sunset TC electric guitar can do it all. Featuring an amazing hybrid of two iconic vintage models, the Cort Sunset TC represents the pinnacle of sonic flexibility.

Hosting a plethora of sound options, the Sunset TC gives the guitarist complete musical freedom. The volume and tone controls allow you to choose the exact sound you desire, along with a 3-way pickup selector for switching between different pickup voices.

The sleek and lightweight design ensures that you can play with maximum comfort and control, so you never miss a note. With its elegant worn finish and impressive nickel details, the Cort Sunset TC offers a vintage feel like no other.

Wooden Ash Body

The wood Ash is one of the most popular and widely known woods for solid electric guitars and basses. It is lightweight, but has an incredibly strong, tight, and full sound with an emphasis on high mid frequencies.

This character makes Ash a favorite wood of demanding guitarists who want a powerful fundamental sound that will cut through and be heard clearly in the mix.

SS Pickup Configuration (2x single coils)

Duncan Designed P90-1 & TE103B pickups

In the SS configuration, the first pickup is located in the neck position of the guitar and the second pickup is located in the bridge position.

These two pickups produce a clean, crystalline sound and are extremely powerful across the entire frequency spectrum. This means that guitarists can play with a wide range of tones, from the sound of classic country to the sound of rock or blues.

Passive Pickups

The pickups of the Cort Sunset TC are passive, and do not require external power to operate. Specifically, passive pickups work using magnetism, and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Vintage Style Headstocks

The vintage-style tuning heads provide an authentic retro look as well as improved tuning stability with functional performance.

This review is about the colour: White

I’ll say so, the price tag was lower by 80€ for a reason!

    - There are scratches and fingerprints on the body.

    - one of the pickups is damaged, I need to solder the wiring.

As for the guitar itself, if you look at it as new.

    - imitation of old age/scuff is made in a template. You can see clear boundaries, there is no soul. (Correated with a skin).

    - The pins are not processed, but they do not stick out.

In general: it’s comfortable and pleasant to play.

    • The frets do not creak
    • Magnet performance
    • Quality of electronic parts
    • Relatively rich sound
    • Value for money
