Hercule Poirot is seriously considering retiring to... cultivate pumpkins. But before bidding a final farewell to the world of crime and punishment, he wants to do something worthy of his name.

He will solve twelve cases, each of which will refer to one of his ancient namesake's labors. Twelve cases that will leave a mark. And they will teach a good lesson to his friend, Dr. Burton, who teasingly claims that he doesn't have the presence of Hercules!
