Description

The HDA SA30 from Arcam belongs to the family of solid stereophonic integrated amplifiers. The integrated amplifier combines a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier in one device, so it can directly accept the signal from the respective source (cd/dvd player, turntable, radio, etc.) and transfer it to the speakers for playback. In this case, it operates with transistors or otherwise solid state. The power is 220W/4Ω or 120W/8Ω. It has a phono input. It also has a built-in Airplay, a feature that allows you to wirelessly connect through your mobile or computer and enjoy your favorite music with better quality and higher volume.
Note: The phono input allows you to connect a turntable without an integrated preamplifier directly to the amplifier without connecting an intermediate and separate preamplifier.

    In my possession since October 23rd. In a few words, EXCEPTIONAL.

    Plenty of power, doesn't sweat, and I don't think it will struggle with sensitive speakers. Very musical, punchy, and ideal for hours of listening without fatigue.

    Very good detail performance without becoming overly analytical, thus making listening enjoyable. Also sounds full even at low volumes for evening listening.

    Also, excellent dynamics and overall tone, style, and presentation please me every time I turn it on, resulting in me not being able to leave the living room and stop listening to music.

    The software is very stable since it is on the latest firmware version (it was already on the latest version out of the box).

    The only thing I haven't tried is its phono stage, as I use a Rega one. But its own supports MC cartridges as well.

    Essentially, it does it all, and it does it exceptionally well, and it has everything:

    Streaming (Tidal Connect, Chromecast, Airplay, Spotify Connect. Note: I don't use the Arcam app, as I directly use Tidal Connect)

    3 RCA inputs for sources, 2 optical & 2 coaxial, and HDMI ARC input for those who want to connect audio from TV/PS5, etc. to the amplifier instead of using optical. And of course, the Phono input (MM and MC)

    Finally, it also features Dirac (room correction system) and is highly recommended for a demo with your friendly local hifi dealer, if they have it, with your eyes closed.
