The 2-month-old baby is having a lot of difficulty sucking milk from the size 1 nipple, which is meant for 0+ months, resulting in not eating. We tried using it from birth but there didn't seem to be enough flow. We switched bottles but went back to Dr. Brown's due to the soft silicone nipple compared to other bottles. The baby is not very hungry either. Maybe if they were, they would suck better. Overall, the bottles are very good quality. We had used them with my older daughter 5 years ago with the old nipple and mechanism and didn't have any problems.

Could it be because of the mechanism it has in the bottle to prevent colic? I can't say for sure. However, the baby was sucking and the milk wasn't leaking. It was getting tired and staying hungry.
