Description

Why classic European type Akan

Radiators of European type AKAN excel in performance because the heat conduction of the environment is done by the air, which smoothly circulates in the environment of daily human traffic and thus spreads at a low speed, while for example in panel radiators, the heated air is transferred at high speed through the fins and directed towards the ceiling of the space where it remains until it cools down, releasing a small percentage of its heat into the environment.

Also, due to the large amount of water they have high thermal capacity and, therefore, create a consistently pleasant heating environment which, apart from not being affected by fluctuations in the central supply, continues to provide warmth even after the central heating supply is turned off. The large amount of water contained in the radiators allows for a small variation in the temperature of the water outlet from the inlet temperature, resulting in a significant improvement in performance. These are the reasons why we ensure significant energy savings.

Metal Radiators Manufacturing Attica

The radiators of Attica Metallurgy, ensure the ideal heating conditions, because they provide 60% of the heat through conduction and 40% of the heat through radiation. This exact ratio gives a pleasant feeling to the person. They have the highest calorie efficiency, for the same volume compared to other types of heating bodies.

They are quadruple (4 holes with ½¨ thread). Each body is accompanied by the corresponding support set. The support set is placed on the body in any position that serves the needs and peculiarities of the space. They are accompanied by 1 ½¨ sealing plug and 1 ½¨ chrome-plated brass ventilation valve.

They are manufactured with the most modern machines to ensure complete tightness and the longest operation.

Columns & fins

It has 14 fins and each fin consists of 2 water columns.

The distance between the holes is 90.5 cm while the total height is 99.5 cm.

How to choose the right radiator size?

It is very important to make the right choice of the radiator body according to the dimensions of your space. The dimensioning of the radiators should be done by an engineer after studying the space and calculating the losses. The wrong choice of the radiator can lead to insufficient heating or excessive heating of the space, resulting in energy waste.

How is the calculation of radiator calories per square meter done?

A practical and simple way to calculate the required calories yourself is to multiply the height, width, and length of your room, in meters. Then multiply the result by the number 50, which represents an approximate estimate of possible losses.

However, this calculation method is indicative and does not replace the study that an engineer will do, which will be perfectly accurate.
