To Youth Lab Candy Scrub & Mask is a creamy facial scrub and mask together that effectively removes dead cells, pollutants, and impurities, while unclogging and purifying pores without irritating the skin.

  • Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive / dry skin. Non-comedogenic, dermatologically tested formula, free of parabens and gluten.

Usage Instructions:

  • Apply to wet skin with gentle massage movements, avoiding the eye area.
  • For best results, leave on for 5 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water.
  • Use 1-2 times a week or as often as your skin feels it needs.

Ingredients:

  • Perlite & Cellulose Grains: (natural mineral and tree bark particles) for exfoliation without irritation, as they accelerate the natural process of shedding dead skin cells, leaving pores clean without blackheads and whiteheads. For oily skin, they help in the removal of excess sebum as they have an excellent degree of oil absorption.
  • Salicylic Acid: belongs to beta-hydroxy acids (BHA) and has excellent keratolytic, comedolytic, and anti-inflammatory action. Its use is particularly recommended for oily or acne-prone skin as it penetrates pores, sanitizes them, and cleans blackheads and whiteheads. Additionally, it controls oiliness, improves cell renewal rates, and increases collagen production.
  • Mushroom Extract: with clinically proven action in tightening enlarged pores & hydration.
  • Montmorillonite Clay: an ingredient with great absorbent capacity as it "swells" and increases in volume when it comes into contact with water, absorbing toxins, oiliness & pollutants like a sponge, removing them from the skin.

    It has a perfect scent (I think it smells like strawberries!) and it has small grains that do a great job as a scrub. But as a mask, it doesn't do a very good job. First, you apply it on your face like a mask (it spreads easily, but you need a good amount of it), and then you leave it on for a few minutes to work as a mask. And when you remove it with a little water, it becomes an amazing peeling, but I have seen better masks.
