Five women leave the comfort of their air-conditioned work environment, reluctantly load their backpacks, and set out to cross a wilderness park in the Australian outback. The goal of this hike is to strengthen their collegial bonds and teamwork. However, at the end of the journey, only four will remain... And each one has a slightly different story about what exactly happened to them.
Federal agent Aaron Falk is particularly interested in the fate of the missing hiker. As his investigation draws him into the heart of the lush vegetation, Falk discovers that the women are entangled in a web of secrets, suspicions, and betrayals. Could any of these, however, lead to murder?
