  They were installed 2 days ago on a Gigabyte B550M K rev.1.1 micro-ATX.

  They were not exactly listed in Gigabyte's Memory Support List, but they initially worked at 2133Mhz and then, through the BIOS, the pre-installed XMP Profile was easily set to 3200Mhz.

  The difference from 2 x 4 GB 2666Mhz to these, 2 x 8GB 3200Mhz, is noticeable, especially in browsing. This particular computer was not intended for gaming, so that's where I wanted to see a difference. They are really worth every last euro!

  For the setup, it took 3-4 rebooting and CMOS battery discharge iterations, otherwise I had no input,

  The memories are amazing, after 2 years, it's the only thing I haven't changed in my build, as besides reliability, they have something else, more important. They are LOW PROFILE, something that is not easily found anymore. Why is low profile important? I have the 5800X, which draws 105W, so I needed a powerful cooling solution. For various reasons, I went with the Noctua NH-D15, which is really huge. What I learned during installation is that in order to fit the second fan of the cooler, you need low profile RAM, otherwise it won't fit. So yes, if you don't care about RGB or color, this is another reason why this particular memory is the best choice for an entry-level or even mid/high-range build

  I initially had it installed on a 3200g with the MSI B450M-A Pro Max motherboard. When I enabled XMP with the AMD Adrenalin drivers installed, it would freeze during boot. The solution was to disable the gear down mode, and then it worked fine (I also ran memtest86 for several hours).

  I later upgraded to a 5600g and didn't have the same issue again. I simply enabled XMP and it booted up normally.

  I bought these specific memories around this time last year. My PC got damaged and I decided to quickly build something cheap. At that time, these memories were among the cheapest and had good reviews, so I chose them since I was on a budget. The system with a Z490 A-Pro motherboard, an i3 10105f processor, and these memories has been running smoothly for a year. I haven't experienced any blue screen of death or any errors. It's the first time I've built a computer in my life, and after all this time, it hasn't shown the slightest 'fault'. When I first set up my system, I plugged them into slots 1 and 3 on the motherboard, but I couldn't boot into the BIOS. I checked the instructions of my motherboard and saw that for 2 modules, they should be plugged into slots 2-4. I changed their position and it booted normally. I entered the UEFI/BIOS, and they were running at 2133MHz, if I remember correctly. I simply enabled the XMP Profile from the settings, and they have been running steadily at 3200MHz since then without any issues. For 30 euros, I consider them to be the absolute value for money if you don't care about fancy things like lighting or extra features.

  Unfortunately, the XMP-3200 profile cannot work on Ryzen 5 5500 with Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite v2 (rev 1.2) motherboard. The computer freezes on boot. I also tried manual settings with a voltage of 1.37 (I don't risk going higher) with the same result. So, for now, it runs at 2600Mhz. If the situation is fixed in a future Gigabyte bios update, I will revert.

  Update 31/05/20203.
  With the help of G.Skill support, the memory now runs at 3200MHz. The reason they couldn't work at 3200MHz manually from the beginning is that, besides the XMP profile settings that are in the package and read by cpu-z, there are other hidden settings that one needs to use special programs to see. G.Skill suggested Thaiphoon Burner to me. However, the computer still showed a black screen on startup. So, I tried the settings one by one until I found which one caused the problem. Eventually, I discovered that it was tRC, which in the XMP profile is set to 56T, but the motherboard couldn't work below 61T (the motherboard's automatic settings even set it higher at 74T). tRC contributes more to the system's stability than its speed. Also, you should enable Gear Down Mode (GDM).
  The XMP settings stored in the SPD are as follows: FCLK=1600MHz, VDIMM=1.350V, CAS Latency tCL=16T, tRCDRD=18T, tRCDWR=18T, tRP=18T, tRAS=38T, tRC=56T, tWR=24T, tRRDS=4T, tRRDL=8T, tWTRS=4T, tWTRL=12T, tRFC=560T, tRFC2=416T, tRFC4=256T, tFAW=39T.
  I now also raise the rating to 4 stars. I deduct one star because a) the process to make the memory work is complex and time-consuming, and b) they don't work 100% according to their specifications (tRC setting).

  VFM memories that will do the job they are intended for decently. They don't say anything visually, but it doesn't bother me because no matter what memory I put in my system, it doesn't show up. Automatically set to 2666 and with XMP they went straight to 3200 without any issues (2x16GB 3200 kit). As for the lack of aluminum heatsinks, they will be needed for memories where we will manually overclock to extreme levels and I wanted to know if those who complain about their absence will bother to do it themselves or if they have the knowledge to do it.

  G.Skill may have the 'Royal' title, but the above memory should be called Emperor. Imperial simplicity, functionality, performance, compatibility, and always at a reasonable price. In this LED world we live in, no one is concerned anymore with the realistic needs that our everyday tool, our computer, truly requires. And for the information of those who are reading this article, I have been involved in video and photo editing for the past three years, so the only thing I need is absolute stability, not speed of course. The important thing here is always plug and play, without overclocking and other experiments. The "epidemic" of XMP has destroyed a lot... and all this for what reason? To gain a questionable 10%, not to mention the precious time wasted on also questionable and somewhat dangerous settings. Meanwhile, I see that the price for 64GB has now "dropped" to the level of the previous decade. Especially for professionals, these specific memories are not simply recommended, they are the most value for money RAM released in recent years. Don't even think about it...

  It's the best you can get if you don't want to spend a lot of money on RAM, it's not something amazing in appearance but they do their job just fine, after installation I simply set the speed to 3200 and they just worked, also the good thing is that because they don't have much volume they won't not fit due to the cooler... In short, if you don't want to spend a lot of money and appearance doesn't matter to you, I think it's one of the best options.
