In March 1413, the leaders of the Order of the Temple were burned alive because they had a different view of the Jesus of History than that of the official Church.

Based on the records of their condemnation, the contemporary French researcher Robert Ambelain embarked on a thorough investigation of the texts of Roman-era historians as well as the canonical and apocryphal Gospels, concluding that the true historical figure of Jesus was entirely different from how his self-appointed representatives portray him.

All these, along with countless other details, are developed in this fascinating book, which, after twenty-five years of semi-clandestine circulation in Greece, is finally republished in a new improved edition, complete and without arbitrary cuts.
It seems that, in the end, the Knights of the Order of the Temple knew the truth and paid for it with their lives!
