The engineers at Seasonic implemented a new design feature where instead of cables, the back and the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) are connected with a copper plate. The fan control button is located at the back of the FOCUS PLUS power supply, next to the power switch.

Excellent PSU in amazing packaging. It comes with 2 beautiful cloth bags with many cables and a short circuit tester for checking proper operation before installation. It also has many connections. It has a hybrid mode so the fan doesn't work when there is not a high consumption/heat. No coil whine. I had a coolermaster 700w 80+ for 9 years that still works fine but I changed it to be sure. The 850w gx focus draws 50W less in idle pc state!! I found it unbelievable. I believe it is a good value for money and will not disappoint.
Unfortunately, it burned 2 motherboards.
I chose it because of the excellent reviews and its length (140mm) as it had to fit in a mini case (Tacens AC4).
It worked fine for 2 days. On the 3rd day, the computer suddenly shut down and wouldn't turn on again. The service told me that the motherboard (which I had been using for 4 years with an EVGA power supply) was dead.
I ordered a new motherboard and after installing it, the same pattern repeated itself, as the computer worked fine for 2 days and then wouldn't turn on again on the 3rd day.
I returned it to the store and got an EVGA again, which has been working flawlessly for months.
In the exact same machines (only the power supply changes), it lowers the CPU temperature by 2 degrees. Excellent performance.

I have an excellent and quiet power supply for 6 months and it is very good. It is worth buying for anyone considering getting it blindly.
What can we say about Seasonic, one of the best - if not the best - power supplies. The present one was purchased 1 month ago, so I can't have an experienced opinion yet, but my old Seasonic was purchased way back in 2006 and it was the only stable component in my computer during 16 years of various peripheral upgrades, until it reached its full lifespan and I built a new computer from scratch. And no, nothing happened to it, I still have it in my old PC which I have now turned into an HTPC.
Reliable, without any issues for the 2 years I've had it. Quality construction worth the money and more.
It goes as expected, based on the specifications and comments, it hasn't burned out on me with frequent power outages, etc., but from the beginning, I have it connected to a safety power strip that draws power from an "Amarad Protective Safety Supervisor 3500VA VP-16A" for $24

In 2008-9, I bought the Seasonic M12. It lasted for 13 years with heavy use. Now that I changed my graphics card, I thought it was right to replace it with this one. Not that it wasn't working, but as a precaution. It has a sturdy construction, completely silent, with flat cables for easy cable management. It's worth its money and in my personal opinion, there is no better brand for power supplies than Seasonic. It's better for someone to be frugal with another part of their computer than with the power supply, they will pay for it in another way in the future. The box contains screws, some Velcro tapes, some cable ties, and the following cables for anyone interested.

Very good power supply, it has nothing to envy from the most well-known brands of power supplies, it works flawlessly for a year now
The power supply works perfectly without any issues for several days, its construction is high-quality and sturdy, and its cables are very nice and durable. I have never had a Seasonic power supply in the past, but it seems that I will prefer them from now on!
With the previous 700W 640 on the +12V rail, the PC would shut down (i5 10600k @5.0 gHz 3070).
With this one, not only does it not shut down, but the voltages of the overclock also changed and dropped from 1.43 to 1.39 on the motherboard. I can't explain how this happened.
With such quality, I believe it will last for several builds
Perhaps the highest quality power supply at 550 watts at a reasonable price, with a 10-year warranty, silent, from a company whose name has become synonymous with quality in power supplies and generally comfortably covers most mid-range systems that have a CPU and GPU consumption that does not exceed 300 watts (which is not low).
For example:
Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX1660 Super ---> 190 watts OK (with overclocking capability)
Ryzen 5 5600X / RTX3070 ---> 285 watts OK (with overclocking capability)
Ryzen 9 5900X / RTX 3070 ---> 315 watts OK (the upper limit that the 550 watts can safely cover, only for stock settings without overclocking*)

(*When overclocking, you must exclude the possibility of insufficient power, which is why you always calculate that the processor will consume twice the power of its rated power by the manufacturer, and in practice, it may burn less - however, there must be a margin because if the system requires more power at any given moment and it doesn't have it, it will crash)
80 euros for an 80 PLUS GOLD, FULLY MODULAR power supply from SEASONIC, with Hybrid FAN mode, which is recommended for gaming and comes with a 10-YEAR warranty, and in Newegg reviews, it receives 5 stars... it can only be an insane value for money and at the same time, a very high-quality power supply.
P.S. If 70-80 euros seem too much for the power supply, check out the corsair TX550M, which is currently at an excellent price (around 50 euros), and it has a 7-year warranty. Personally, I have been using it in 2 gaming systems for 4 years, and it is high-quality, silent, and very stable in its operation.
Kids, so I received it today after a delay of many days, due to the huge involvement of the Couriers. However, I was 1000% satisfied! From the moment I held it in my hands, I realized how sturdy and high-quality it is. Without unnecessary plastic, beautiful, the cables are a bit stiff which may make cable management difficult, but I don't think anyone will have a problem. Performance...? I have it paired with a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB 3200 Ram, 3060Ti which they say requires over 600w, but it doesn't falter anywhere! It will show over time, of course, but the first day is going great! (In a good way). It's quiet, you can't hear anything even if I put my ear on the case. Simply put, SeaSonic is top-notch... Unfortunately, here in Greece, it's not a particularly well-known brand, everyone is familiar with the famous ones and they overlook these gems.
The Seasonic Focus GX is a very good fully modular power supply at an affordable price. Overall, its body and cables are of high quality in a simple black color that matches with any color scheme. It doesn't have any crazy design, it's very simple and won't bother those who want something straightforward.
Generally, Seasonic is a well-known company that you don't need to be afraid of. Imagine that even Corsair and other companies buy power supplies from Seasonic and sell them under their own name and logo. So you may already have some experience with Seasonic without even knowing it.
It works comfortably with a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070ti at 550w and is quiet. Don't rush to get a 750w power supply because you think the wattage won't be enough. It's possible that if I had an Intel, it would require fewer watts to operate. Also, as a tip, never skimp on buying a power supply and then add something like an RTX 2060, etc. Get something good that will keep you calm and have peace of mind. The power supply is the most important component as it is the heart of the computer.
Finally, don't look at the 80plus certification as a measure of quality. There are plenty of Gold models that are not as high quality. It simply changes the efficiency of the power supply in how it uses the power it receives from the wall and how much of it. So Gold certification, etc. doesn't always equal quality. Look for the model you are interested in to make sure it doesn't have any issues and see what people say about it.
Otherwise, I haven't had any problems with it in the 4 months I've had it, neither with temperatures nor with computer crashes, etc. Imagine that with the previous Corsair VS 650 purchased in 2015, I had some issues, so spend those extra 30 euros to get something good that will protect your computer from power surges, etc. It's an investment in the power supply, as we will have it for many years.
I recommend it, solely because it's modular, it frees up your hands with the cables and makes it easier.
