I had bought it to use as a hotspot. One of the few mobile phones of this type with this function. The battery is very poor though. Even for simple use, it has poor battery performance. Charging at least once a day, which is unheard of for a button mobile phone!

As mentioned before, the negatives are that you have to press the power button or call start button 10 times to open/close the conversation. In the contact search, you type and it takes a while to display the name. When someone calls and you want to mute it, it remains muted for both the call sound and if you forget, the phone remains on silent for hours... The speaker quality is average. I have used the internet 1-2 times and it connects well. It hasn't been charging for a few days now and I will send it for service.

Did you find this review helpful?As others have written, despite its many impressive features for its price, I find the most annoying and discouraging thing about buying it is that it locks with a very long duration the prolonged asterisk button, which if pressed, does not wake up the screen, but you have to press a neighboring button first, and when you want to quickly check your phone or make a quick call, all these annoying things prevent you!
Also, when typing numbers for calls, the buttons need to be pressed hard and you need to make sure they are pressed to make a call! I pressed it like 3-4 times at least.
Also, the fact that it does not have call blocking is at least unjustifiable! The €10 ALCATEL I had had it!
As soon as I picked up my old NOKIA 3310 from 2017, I felt relieved! And now I understand why the price has gone up so much.

Sound with good headphones is very mediocre. User-unfriendly menu. Low-quality buttons. Many pre-installed useless applications that can't be removed. Additional application shortcuts cannot be added to the side menu on the screen (I couldn't find it anywhere no matter how much I searched). I wasted my time trying to root it with the help of bananahackers, but I didn't succeed. The battery came swollen and wouldn't charge, and thanks to the store where I bought it, they replaced it for me. In the end, it is a low-quality phone, if you only want to see it as a phone. If you want to see it as a smartphone, currently KAIOS is more useless than WM5 in 2022. Luckily, I got it for €20 and I can give it away without much regret

Did you find this review helpful?I bought it to replace the Nokia 8000 and so far I am extremely satisfied! It is faster than the Nokia and has significantly better buttons (one of my biggest issues with the Nokia)! The USB internet sharing function works flawlessly (a crucial feature for me). Additionally, I added a 128 GB microSD card and now it has all my music and still plenty of space for more! The battery life is also better than the Nokia's, as it lasts for two full days (the Nokia lasts for about one day). It also has 5 full games which I think are really nice! And while the Nokia has Snake, it doesn't have anything else!
I deducted one star due to KaiOS, which has many of the same issues I mentioned for the Nokia 8000. I really wish there was an alternative option for "dumb" phones...
I will update whenever I have new information.
Update 31-01-2022: As others have mentioned, the audio quality is not as good. The problem is that it doesn't "focus" the sound in your ear, but rather functions more like a speakerphone. The result is that if someone sits next to you, they can hear your conversation! Especially if you increase the volume of the speaker! The problem is solved if you use headphones, but personally, I'm not used to using them.
Update 31-03-2022: Ultimately, after a few months of use, I decided to switch back to a smartphone :( Unfortunately, the problems that both this specific phone and all "dumb" phones in general have are too many for me... And the funny thing is that some of these problems could easily be avoided. For example, the issue with the E241S's audio has nothing to do with it being a dumb phone. Also, how is it possible that there are no dedicated buttons for adjusting the volume? Here, in smartphones where ALMOST all functions are done through the touchscreen, they choose to control the volume through physical buttons. Lastly, the real big problem with ALL dumb phones today is KaiOS itself. It's slow, has a bunch of bugs, and doesn't seem to be actively developed. Honestly, the operating system that the new Nokia 3310 (2017) had was far superior. The only thing it was missing was the hotspot function (and 3G/4G support, of course). The only good thing is that I only paid 20 euros to buy it!

It is used purely for calls, SMS, songs, YouTube, WhatsApp, radio, internet radio, and the speedometer on the motorcycle! It does all of these perfectly and quickly! I don't know where you saw it getting stuck in these. Yes, it is slower than a smartphone, obviously, but it has decent speed!
In calls with closed volte/vowifi, the sound is great, in fact, unless you are deaf!!! With volte enabled, the sound is quite low in volume.
With whatever courage I was talking on Instagram, now I talk on WhatsApp with all my friends, so you won't be lost to anyone, but at the same time, there won't be useless scrolling on Instagram/TikTok, etc...
The radio also works without headphones!!!If you need something on the internet, it works. It's not that it gets stuck, but it has slow scrolling. It's fine for ordering from Skroutz and other sites, just don't go open GNTM live to watch. It tries to load it, of course...
I read that it gets stuck in contacts and the alarm doesn't work. I have 150 contacts and several with pictures, in fact. Locking and unlocking the keypad is a nightmare...
