For its size, its capabilities are ideal for demanding amateurs as well as professionals. I use it professionally many times and as a first camera.
As a professional: I have recorded up to 1.5 hours of continuous 4K video at a summer wedding and I believe I could record another equal amount of time without any problem.
As a freelancer: In a discreet backpack, I can take with me on a trip a complete equipment for filming and photography, such as: 2 Sony a6600 bodies, 5 lenses (I recommend fixed sigma art contemporary lenses), batteries, chargers, microphone, and cards, as well as a drone (DJI Mavic with 2 extra batteries) and a gimbal (DJI Ronin sc), without feeling the need for full-frame equipment. In fact, due to its practicality, many times I may even do more unique shots than I would with a larger and heavier equipment.
I have been working with Sony A since 2014, with both full-frame and crop bodies, and with this particular body, I have not found anything negative after 6 months of use.

Amazing camera. The eye tracking in video and photography is killer. It's slightly heavier than the a6400 and its battery has improved significantly. It's the ultimate small camera.
