It was installed in an apartment on the ground floor and it works fine as it seems. Unfortunately, it doesn't have two-way communication to respond if someone knocks, but it's not a problem. There are more expensive ones with wifi and apps and cameras that can do that, but I wanted something simple and I saw comments complaining about those, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money at first.
So, I went for this one. A few negatives that I want to mention. The paper for the name is an awkward square shape that realistically only a few names or surnames can fit. But with small letters, it fit what I wanted to write. To open the battery cover, I use the cap of a pen because it can't be done with just the hand... I don't know how long the battery will last, I imagine it only works when you press it, so the saving will be good. I will update when it's finished. Most of the songs/sounds are annoying, I would say, only the simple bell is worth it.
Some positives: the receiver at home doesn't need a battery, it plugs into the power (although it's a bit bulky). It also comes with screws and adhesive, I hope the adhesive holds on the door.
For anyone who wants a simple doorbell solution, it seems to do the job. I will update in the future with my observations.
