Initially, the pieces are 18 (3 sizes of 6 pieces each), the set does not include a fruit bowl as stated. Also, the way they are packaged results in them scratching each other. The new plates already have deep scratches. I consider it extremely foolish and very unfortunate.

The plates are as shown in the photo. They are very large and lightweight. The large plates are difficult to fit in the microwave.
