If you step on a wet surface, the shoes slip a lot.
In most hikes, there are areas with water and these shoes are strictly unsuitable because you can simply get killed without any exaggeration.
Top shoe for its intended purpose. Very comfortable and warm, ideal for both off-road and light climbing, you won't want to take it off.
Now, if you want a shoe for everyday walks in an urban environment, know that especially on wet marble it slips A LOT, just like all shoes designed for nature.

I'm coming back after the first winter. At the point where the toes bend, it came unglued on the side, resulting in water and moisture getting in. At least with this price, I expected it to last more than one winter. It falls to 3/5.
Comfortable from the first day, stable grip without pressure on the foot. Excessively warm. Feet sweat in intermediate months, which, however, makes them suitable for winter use and worry-free for mountain hiking and temperatures throughout the year. After several routes, hikes, and city use due to heat and waterproofing, the sole has started to deteriorate. The teeth have worn down and the grip is reduced. Purchased on sale at half price, 69 euros at the time, it is the most worthwhile purchase and choice I have made. However, their original price tends to be expensive.
I work as a delivery person and after reading some comments, I decided to go for this particular purchase.
I have to say that it is very good and warm shoe.
Its only flaw is that it slips on smooth surfaces like marble.
As for its durability, I have no opinion yet because this was the first winter I used them.
Don't forget to get them half a size bigger!!!!
Extremely great shoes. They keep the foot particularly stable and warm. Very good fit and waterproofing.
I don't know why, but especially in the first 2 months until they break in, they slip a lot on wet roads. However, after 2 months of use, I notice that this improves, maybe the friction helped to create some anti-slip properties.
Good shoe for everyday use in the city in rain or snow, quite warm and water repellent. Because I have run in the mountains, it is not as good for hiking on dirt roads and especially on trails, Salomon has much better models for the mountains.
In ice and rain they slide a lot and require great caution. It is not recommended to use them in the city. But for the mountains, they are the best you can buy. Very warm with inner lining. So comfortable that I didn't want to take them off. I literally fell in love with them.
First of all, the most important thing is that I wear size 44.5 and luckily I saw from comments and got size 45.1/3 and it fits me comfortably. The shoe is very good in terms of quality, warm and comfortable for the 70-something euros I paid for it. Except for an annoying sound (click) it makes when walking. However, if you make the mistake of wearing them in a city with rain, or anywhere else with wet tiles, you have a high chance of ending up like me, needing to see an orthopedic doctor. On some wet tiles, the shoe slips as if you're walking on ice, to the point where you have to take small careful steps and still slip. In conclusion, I do not recommend buying this shoe, as once you fall and get injured, I don't think it's worth it!
It is unimaginable for such a shoe to slip so much!! Simply do not wear them like that and if it rains a little. Useless. Wear a cheap sports shoe. You will have less chance of slipping
Very comfortable, warm, excellent quality and well-made shoe for winter. The only negative is that it does indeed slip on wet, relatively smooth floors. As for durability over time, only time will tell...
If it had 2 more lace holes, it would grip the tongue better. 5/5 (When it's raining, it requires caution, on tiles and non-grainy surfaces it slips a lot.)

I wear size 46 in Nike, and I got the Salomon in 46 2/3 to fit me exactly. Always with winter socks.
First of all, I'm talking about the same model but with a black sole, without knowing if that matters. I use them in the city when the weather is bad and rainy, but also outside the city. When I say outside the city, don't imagine any mountaineering in the snow. Hiking in the countryside, grass above the ankle that should have soaked them, uneven hills of rock and dirt, mud that makes your foot go 'SPLAT'. Warm until your foot bursts (when they come, there is a removable label that says "comfortable up to -3"), so warm that there might be a slight problem in the summer. The sole, contrary to what others say, doesn't give me any problems on wet tiles or generally flat surfaces. The only time it gave me trouble was on wet linoleum. Soaked from pure humidity, nothing gets through. I didn't go into a stream, but I stepped quickly into a road with flowing water 6-7 inches deep and my foot didn't get wet. The construction quality seems very good, but I haven't had them for years to say for sure. For 84 euros, it was an amazing purchase, especially when I think about what branded sports shoe I could get with that money...
And I continue a month later, after testing it in the snow that fell. In temperatures of -5 and worse (I wore it with double socks), it was an oven. No matter how much snow covered it, splashed on it, stepped on it, sank into it during an hour-long walk (calm landscape, I wasn't in a ski resort...), it didn't notice anything and of course didn't get wet. However, on melted snow, on completely flat sidewalk tiles, it slipped quite a bit, while it didn't do that with just rain, as I wrote above.
I continue a year later with bicycle tests. In torrential rain, in an urban environment, with half an hour of cycling, with water from above and below, it showed minimal moisture on the inner tips. For a non-waterproof shoe, it performed exceptionally well. In terms of time, with quite a bit of urban use, no external wear.
Very honest warm winter boots for the city mainly but also for the countryside, village outings and nature. Completely waterproof and very warm with a special winter insole that has fleece. They are also very lightweight and because they have an anatomical insole, I have used them even for long walks in the city without any problem. If your feet get cold, they will definitely be one of your best purchases! Very beautiful boots and one of my best purchases.
Otherwise, one negative aspect is that they slip quite a bit on smooth surfaces and tiles when they are wet (like all similar Salomon boots) and because they are not like leather boots that take the shape of the foot, when you walk there is a "flap-flap" sound from the shoe's "break" which is not usually heard from both shoes or is heard more loudly from one and less from the other.
