Extra virgin olive oil from the company Toplou Monastery, aimed at meeting the needs of both household and mass catering. Through innovation and respect for both cultivation practices and the environment of the production process, a high-quality product is bottled for the consumer. Investing in this nutritional treasure, recognized as the healthiest ingredient of the Mediterranean diet, rich in beneficial properties, "Toplou Monastery" is produced with love and exceptional care. The olives are harvested from strictly selected olive groves in Crete, using only mechanical methods. This ensures that the organoleptic characteristics (the taste and aroma of our land) can be reproduced authentically and transferred directly to your table.
Light green, golden-green color, medium intensity fruity with a taste that presents wonderful notes of tomato with a hint of pepperiness.
Adds value to the daily table... while accompanying a wide range of cooked dishes and fresh salads!

Very affordable for its features, other companies sell this quality for much higher prices. Excellent and high-quality, ideal for salads! It doesn't have a strong taste, it is very pleasant on the palate. It is oil from monks in Crete, hence the name Toplou (Toplou Monastery)
Good oil, not perfect. The one I received has an expiration date of 10/2023, so you can't really call it fresh. Also, I went to buy more and saw that the price went from 34 to 45 in 19 days. I prefer to buy car oil. It's pure greed.
Update:
After a few days of testing, the oil has possibly gone bad (maybe because it's old) and has a slightly bitter taste (for my taste buds, at least) compared to other oils I've bought. For example, I bought the molonlave from a well-known supermarket chain and the difference was huge.
It has a heavy taste. For salad, it is filling. In cooking, it is fine. Price increase quite a bit in a short period of time.
Great disappointment. What a shame. The packaging was fine, but taste-wise, it was a big disappointment. Influenced by other reviews, but taste-wise, I didn't find anything positive.
WARNING ABOUT EXPIRATION DATES... I bought 50 kilos, they were delivered on August 23rd and the expiration date is October 23rd. So, do I have to consume 50 kilos in 2 months? Seriously now?
Excellent and high-quality olive oil! Light taste, velvety sensation, it does not have a strong flavor, mild aroma
