The extractor hood from the company Miele, energy class A, is built-in. It is placed in cabinets in such a way that only its lower surface is visible.
It is considered quiet as it does not exceed 52 db at maximum operation (conversation between 2 people in a normal tone reaches 60 db).
The maximum suction power is 600 m³/h, which can adequately cover spaces up to 21 square meters (with a height of 2.85 meters).
The air pulled by the extractor is either expelled through a pipe or recycled in the extractor. For air extraction operation, a pipe needs to be installed to vent the air outside the kitchen.
It accepts metal filters, which can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand, and do not require frequent replacement. Additionally, it accepts carbon filters, which cannot be washed and it is recommended to replace them every 4-6 months.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The purchase was made in the summer of 2021 and the extractor remained in its box until the new kitchen of my house was ready, which was completed around mid-May 2022. When we moved into the house with my family, it worked well for the first 10-15 days. Quiet, beautiful, and efficient with strong lighting. The buttons were a bit difficult to use, but I think it's a matter of getting used to them. Then the problems started. It didn't work on low intensity, only on very high, making a loud noise - whistling. The extractor had very few operating hours, a total of 2-3 hours at most. I contacted customer service, a technician came, identified the problem, and told me that the motor needs to be replaced. Of course, it's free of charge because it's under warranty. However, he told me that I have to uninstall it myself because it's built-in and he doesn't have access to the inside. Huge disappointment!!! So, I have to call for a brand new extractor from a company that I considered reliable (that's why I chose it) and intervene in my brand new kitchen (obviously with the cost of the carpenter for uninstallation and reinstallation), with the risk of causing any damage. I spoke to the company and they told me... "Sometimes it happens!!!!" Huge disappointment!!!
