Description

For greater safety and protection

Maximum protection in every situation: the system lock provides reliable protection against accidental or unauthorized activation. If a cooking zone operates at the same level for an unusually long time or there is no cookware on the hob, it automatically turns off. The residual heat indicator has another useful function: it reminds you not to touch the cooking zones when they are still hot.

Booster Function for Quick Preheating

For particularly fast heating: with the TwinBooster function from Miele, you can combine the power of two cooking zones into one single cooking zone if desired. Alternatively, you can distribute the induction power independently for even more flexible cooking.

Greater comfort

Greater cooking convenience: with the Stop & Go function, all zones can be reduced to level 1 with the touch of a button, allowing you to leave the cooktop unattended for a while. The keep warm function keeps food at serving temperature. Additionally, by setting the timer function, the zone turns off automatically once the time has elapsed. With the Recall function, your settings are saved for 10 seconds.

Place the cookware and start cooking

All you have to do is activate the cooktop – if there is already a utensil in the cooking zone, the corresponding control element will be activated automatically. Therefore, no manual activation of the cooking zone is required. The size of the utensil is automatically recognized for particularly high energy efficiency.

Independent operation

Its operation is independent, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in the kitchen that suits you best. It is suitable for combination with an above-counter oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the cooktop.

Touch Controls

The control for selecting the desired temperatures and settings is done digitally and via touch. All options are located at the bottom of the cooktop and are integrated into the surface. Therefore, all you need to start cooking is a few gentle touches with your finger.

Dimensions & power of cooking zones

  • Front left: Ø 160-220 mm, 2300/3000/3650 W
  • Rear left: 100-160 mm, 1400/1700/2200 W
  • Rear right: Ø 140-190 mm, 1850/2500/3000 W
  • Front right: Ø 140-190 mm, 1850/2500/3000 W

Induction Cooktop Features

In induction cooktops, the cooking surface heats only under the cookware, using less than half the energy compared to standard cooktops. Cooking on an induction cooktop provides faster heating, improved thermal efficiency, and more precise control. Compared to conventional electric cooktops, induction cooktops can even halve the cooking time while consuming significantly less energy.

Induction cooktops are known for their extremely easy cleaning, as they only require a wipe with a damp cloth. Since only the cookware heats up, any spills on the cooktop surface do not burn.

Visually, the induction cooktop looks very similar to the ceramic one, but it uses electromagnetism instead of electricity. For this reason, special cookware with a magnetic base is required.

Tragic! 2-year-old Miele stoves close to 1000€ and they broke, kids! Unacceptable and they don't even acknowledge the mistake!!!! They tell us to repair it with a spare part that costs 750€!!! And I won't buy any cheaper ones and also what brand??? Stay away from Miele! It's just a name after all! I am completely disappointed!

The best I have seen so far in an induction hob. Tested with a medium-sized Fissler pot, 1 liter of cold tap water reached boiling point in 3 minutes.
