A father and his disabled son, armed with the love they have for each other, struggle to survive in a village that is becoming deserted, in the mountains of Epirus. Around them, an ecological disaster has occurred; the water is no longer drinkable, the animals and plants are poisoned.

Their struggle is depicted with simple and poetic language in "Black Water".
