We want to keep in mind certain things when looking at products that are presented to us as special or specialized. It may be, it may not be, but we have no reason to flatter the companies that manufacture these products, and here we have a good example. Is this an "advanced formula for women" as promised by the label? Is there something here that specifically makes it "female"? No, it is a typical multivitamin like all the others on the shelf.
So, is there anything here that sets it apart as something from which women will derive some extra benefits? No, and if you look at the composition of the company's "male" product, you will see that it is almost the same (this one has slightly more iron, 2mg to be precise, and the other one has a negligible amount of CoQ10).
Beyond that, it is a typical multivitamin with vitamins and minerals in their inorganic, cheaper forms (such as zinc oxide, etc.) in relatively sufficient quantities. I have written about other widely advertised products, and this falls into the same category, namely simple multivitamins that are advertised as something "else", more specific (for women, for men, for over 50s) without actually being so.
If you are interested in a simple multivitamin, with a little research you will find something better, meaning more active forms, higher quantities, better price.
For women who would like something more specialized, they should take a powerful antioxidant like astaxanthin (probably the most powerful antioxidant in nature, with the extra bonus of providing sun protection, unfortunately it is very expensive), or pycnogenol / pine bark extract (this is an extract from the bark of a pine tree full of antioxidant flavonoids, pycnogenol is a patented, and therefore more expensive version of it, but there is also a generic form available), and the content of one capsule can also be used topically. Both are several times stronger than vitamin C, but also take vitamin C which you can always have in abundance. And then of course, the greatest benefits will not come from supplements but from our lifestyle.
Very good vitamin, it is perfect for women. I saw a big difference in my hair, skin, nails, etc., as well as in my energy levels! The only negative thing is that my gynecologist did not allow me to take it during pregnancy, it is not recommended
It gives me energy. Attention, it may be called female, but it does not have any effect on menopause side effects. For those, I take evening primrose oil.
Excellent product. And definitely value for money. This product has not received the love it deserves. Just compare it with other vitamins that target women's needs, with this one.
