Bought in August 2013 and installed on a SMART TV since then for mainly playing FHD movies (even 3D). Many "trips" from the TV to the PC and vice versa, many file transfers - deletions of at least 1 gigabyte and several falls and tumbles, as it is placed on top of a speaker due to its short cable, otherwise it doesn't reach the TV port.

The hard drive is alive and ruling. Highly recommended.
You don't need to test it, just get an extension or a longer USB cable. :)

This particular external hard drive is awesome. For almost a year, it has not disappointed even for a second, with write speeds of 100MB/s, as the USB 3.0 standard includes, which the company includes. The construction is high-quality, with a durable cover to protect the disk from shocks. It is worth every penny 100%

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews... I've had it for several months and it hasn't had a single problem. I've charged it up to 50%-60%. Good construction. From what I can see, it's a bit expensive in Greece. (I got it from abroad for around 40-50€, if I remember correctly...)

It got destroyed right after the warranty expired. A quick internet search and you will find many other similar examples.

I have been using it for over a year now. It works flawlessly. The rubber casing protects it from small falls (personally, it has fallen from a height of 70-80 inches twice) and keeps the hard drive stable on any surface you place it on.

The cable that came with it in the package is about 40cm long, so I never had any issues.

4 stars from me because the rubber casing is a bit expensive compared to a "regular" external 2.5" hard drive.

edit: 2 years after purchasing it, it still works flawlessly. I have filled it up almost completely and carry it in my bag every day - with all that entails.

After 2 months of use, it made a sudden noise and simply stopped working. Now I have sent it for data recovery service...
One positive aspect of the disk is its construction in terms of mechanical durability, as all internal parts have anti-vibration casing. However, it's useless when the electronic circuit goes off...

After about 1.5-2 years of use and without even reaching 50% capacity, it makes a beep and doesn't start...

I have had it here for a week, a very sturdy device, quiet and reliable for extreme situations... I had a Transcend 80GB since 2006 and it still works like new, this experience led me to buy another one and I was reassured...

The disk is quite fast, it has a sturdy construction with a rubber casing. Its design is so compact that it makes you want to carry it everywhere!
Perhaps the only downside (which of course does not concern the disk itself) is the cable that comes with it in the package. It is only 20 centimeters long... so the port needs to be close to the point where you will touch it.
