I will not rate it based on how well they transferred the game from the old ps1 console to the new ones, because many, especially the new kids, may not have had the opportunity to play them.

I should mention that I got the game for 20 euros, which I considered a good opportunity.

After clarifying some things, let me start with the evaluation.

Positives:

It runs steadily at 30 fps and the game has not crashed suddenly or frozen.

I believe the game, being a trilogy, lasts at least 20+ hours to complete all of them, and maybe 35-40+ hours for 100% completion.

It automatically saves your progress in each part of the trilogy, meaning you can start from any Spyro (1/2/3) you want at any time.

The graphics are quite good, with the voice lines and actors having improved compared to the old ones, but at the same time, they have retained the old feel of the game for those who seek it.

The controls are problem-free and respond as they should when you press the buttons. I mention this because Activision, along with Spyro, released the Crash Trilogy, which I recently started playing and it has input delay and, in some cases, it is very noticeable. However, Spyro does not have this problem.

The game is very good for passing the time with something relaxing. It is not a difficult game, nor is it demanding. It has mini-games as trials, but most of the time, they are not necessary to complete the story. It also has puzzle games or searching for things within the map.

Negatives:

As I mentioned, because they tried to keep it the same as the original, those who have played the old ones will not see anything different in terms of gameplay.

Sometimes the loading times when changing maps or when you die can be quite long, maybe even a minute.

It consumes the battery of the switch relatively faster compared to other games I have played, and the fan on the switch will be working during gameplay.

As I said, the gameplay is relaxing, but for some, it may be too relaxed and boring. If you don't do any of the extra missions that are not related to the story, then we are talking about a game where you go from point A to point B in each level, with a few simple character moves (headbutt and fire) to deal with little monsters or save someone.

The price is usually high, around 35-40 euros, which I consider very bad. The purchase I made for 20 euros online was good, but a major drawback was that it took up 15gb of space on my memory card.

Conclusion:

A very good game for children, but also for those who want a relaxed and enjoyable time. However, I recommend buying it at a good price and having enough space to download the game if you don't get it in physical form (15 gb).
