  It's one of the best thermal compounds on the market. Excellent performance and long lasting. I applied some on my Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and on my RTX 2070 Super GPU last year, and it still gives the same performance as if it were applied yesterday, even under heavy workload.
  The only downside is that it's very expensive "1 g for about €9". You can find cheaper alternatives, like Arctix MX4 that has a comparable performance and costs €5- €6 for a 4g tube.

  After the bad experience I had with the Arctic MX5, I chose this one. It is in the top 5 of thermal pastes, so it is a sure choice. I don't know how it behaves over time or if it solidifies to the point where it completely sticks to the processor (like the last MX5), but friends who use it say they are satisfied. Clearly easier to apply with maybe slightly higher temperatures compared to the MX5 - but it is negligible.

  When building a new computer, you never use the manufacturer's "mother" paste. As a "teacher who taught and didn't follow the rules", I used the Corsair Hydro Series H115i RGB Platinum's "mother" paste. And while everything was fine in the winter, in the summer the 5900X started reaching the ceiling of 90 degrees Celsius, forcing me to lower the clocks. With Kryonaut, I dropped the temperature by 7 degrees, so now it boosts more and for a longer duration.

Now, if it's worth paying triple the price for a two-degree Celsius difference, I would say no. For me, the only negative aspect is its price.

  I applied the paste to a 6-7 year old Dell laptop that had temperatures ranging from 50-65 degrees Celsius at idle, and after applying the paste, it had a maximum of 30-40 degrees Celsius, and at one point, I even saw 27 degrees Celsius!!   Perfect thermal paste dropped my temperatures on the overclocked 5600x to 4.650oc at idle to 22c to 30c depending on room temperature, and reached 66c in cinebench 23 and 77c in prime 95.
  Buy without fear, it's worth every penny.

  A small observation is that the "tube" also has an "applicator" that screws on top (mine opened in two when I put it on), so I took a different approach on how I applied the thermal paste on the CPU, using the traditional method. I put a dot in the center and four smaller dots on the corners.

  I changed the paste application technique from using a spatula, as recommended by the manufacturer in the traditional application method, to using the "ball-cake" application in the center of the processor. Essentially, I placed a large amount in the center and 4 smaller amounts at the edges (in the shape of a cake or ball). Now I am 10 degrees lower, from 89C to 79C, or the paste does indeed do its job but not miracles. If it was cheaper (at reasonable prices), it would receive a 4/5 rating, because it doesn't perform the miracles they advertise, but due to its expensive price, it gets a 3/5 (+1 star from my previous post)

  I have had the i7 4790k since 2014 and I have changed more than 8 pastes. Among the top ones, Cooler Master, Be Quiet, Gelid PRO, Arctic Silver, Noctua NT-H2, I decided to try Kryonaut since it is said to work wonders, etc. Fairy tales of Halimas. It's really a waste of money. The temperatures are the same as before (89 degrees in stress test, yes, the cursed Intel's i7 Haswell devil's canyon volcano) even the same as those pastes that cost 2-3 euros, with a difference of 2 degrees lower. I'm tired and I don't even listen to or watch those who review on YouTube anymore because every time I listened to them, I was disappointed. I have much more experience in the end, as I get paid to apply pastes on processors and machines that my clients bring me for maintenance, than those old fools on YouTube who get paid to advertise them.
  If you really want to lower the temperatures, get a case with good airflow design and fans that push out more air than they take in, and a 360mm radiator liquid cooling, and don't waste your money on pastes or toothpastes.

  After two applications, I can say that it is the best paste available for easy application (I mean not metallic). I applied it to my PS4 Pro after reading a relevant guide and I was amazed! It became completely silent! But the second application on a laptop with a GTX 1080 and a hot processor left me speechless! In stress tests that I conducted before and after applying the paste, the temperatures were almost 20 degrees lower on the CPU and GPU! So I highly recommend it, it doesn't cost a fortune! It is definitely worth it and more!

The best paste for a system with demanding overclocking that requires the best possible cooling. The paste drops the temperature by 100% from 6-10 degrees, even compared to already good paste.   Guys, incredibly good, the temperature did not drop below 44-45 in idle condition. I have air cooling but good, not simple. I was thinking of changing the cooling to liquid cooling because during use the temperature easily reached 65-67, even causing the PC to restart due to temperature... A friend suggested before changing the cooling to change the thermal paste and recommended this one. I didn't expect such a difference, now in idle I am between 35 and 38 (8-core i7) and for the past 3 days that I have been monitoring the temperature, it hasn't gone above 57! I highly recommend it.

  Be careful with this specific paste when you receive and use it. I bought the 5.55 grams version and after a month of use, it had destroyed the surface of my processor and cooler, creating noticeable cavities! Good thermal conductivity, but not worth it! There is an entire article about Cryonaut on Overclockers UK, known as Kryonaut abrasive! What a shame for the Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power and Ryzen 1600. Want equally good results? PK-3 prolimatech doesn't corrode and is excellent and cheaper compared to Kryonaut. Unacceptable! 12.5 W/mk is good, but I prefer 11.3 W/mk which doesn't remove material from both surfaces! Obviously, I got a defective tube.

  24/6/2020: Buying from the official reseller once again, I realize that I had indeed received a defective tube at first. So, I am changing my rating to 4 stars and time will tell!

  Kryonaut is the best non-electrically conductive thermal paste on the market. It lowers the temperature by a fun 10 degrees compared to the competition. I have been using it for years before it came to Greece, on over 50 of my computers, data centers, graphics cards, chipsets, circuits, etc. The only one that matches its performance is Prolimatech's PK3. Don't listen to those who say it dries quickly and such. The paste does not dry out, it just solidifies in a few minutes (an experienced user only needs 10 seconds to apply the paste + cooler) and softens again as soon as the PC heats up. RULE: after installation, once the machine is running and has completed a full throttle cycle (e.g. with AIDA64), tighten the cooler screws slightly BEFORE IT COOLS DOWN completely to "dry out" any excess paste that may have dripped. NEVER tighten the cooler with a cold processor!!! When the paste is cold, it has a different viscosity, and as soon as it heats up and softens, a gap is created between the cooler and the processor. The processor-paste-cooler must have undergone the same expansions, so that when you tighten the screws, it stays as it is, because if the paste "collects" and we tighten it while it's cold, it will create gaps on the metals. If it's warm and you apply too much, it will dry up inside the socket. It's also a matter of experience. All the clueless vloggers on YouTube make the same mistake. And you don't always need to spread it with a spatula all over the processor. A small dot or rice grain in the middle is enough (if the chip is not large like Threadripper). The internet is filled with inaccuracies, such as the claim that there is no result on de-lidded processors. Of course, we DON'T USE this one (Kryonaut) on de-lidded processors, but Conductonaut, which is liquid metal and ONLY if it doesn't come into contact with aluminum. And on which de-lidded processors? On certain Intel ones that had faulty packaging from the factory, and users removed the lid in an attempt to cool them down. In short, it's not the paste's fault because an overclocker entered the wrong code intended for another use or made a wrong placement. Anyone with an expensive machine, especially if it's overclocked, uses an appropriate paste. It's ridiculous for users to be stingy about the MOST BASIC thing that protects the most expensive parts of a computer worth hundreds or thousands of euros. For scenarios where you use water cooling and applications that don't require silicone, prefer Hydronaut. It is slightly lower in performance (2 degrees) but also very good. For general use in simple systems, Arctic MX-4 and plain bread (honest but not for extreme situations).

The other plus I noticed is that it takes longer for the temperature to rise compared to mx4, which might make it better.
