  I have had it for about a month. From the first moment, you forget that you are wearing it. It does not bother with long-sleeved clothes like other bulkier G-Shock watches. I find it very convenient that I set it once on automatic, it actually synchronized overnight and I will never have to deal with it again. The two or three small hits I gave it, one on the glass, are really like they never happened. In other non-G-Shock Casio watches, they would have left a mark. Overall, I have believed what I read in other reviews that it is a watch that if you were to choose only one, it would be this one.

  Very good watch, reliable and beautiful, but forget about seeing the time in a closed space with low lighting. Only with the automatic illumination by turning the wrist will you be able to see it. The Tough Solar is a very positive feature. Maybe I should have gotten the regular display or the more expensive Gw-B5600bc. Nevertheless, I got used to it and will keep it.

  I had my eye on this watch for a while as I had decided to buy a G-shock. I started with larger Casio models but after a lot of searching, I ended up with this one with a negative display. The watch is truly incredible with a relatively retro design that reminds me of the 80s, as it has roots from the predecessor DW-5600. The first time you see it, it might seem relatively small for a G-shock. Soon you will realize that its dimensions are the golden ratio in terms of practicality and everyday use. I would recommend trying it before buying (or seeing photos and videos on wrists) so as not to be surprised.

  Regarding its functions...
  Casio G-shock - no need for recommendations for shocks, mishandling, etc.
  Multi Band 6 - Automatic or manual synchronization via radio waves from the 6 atomic clocks/stations around the world.
  Tough Solar - Battery charged by the sun, meaning it will probably need replacement after many years.
  Waterproof up to 20 BAR.
  Backlit Illumination - On/Auto.
  Power Saver - On/Off.
  Sound On/Off.
  Negative Display - If you like watches with negative displays, this is the way to go. If not, or if your eyes prefer a regular display, then go for the 5610-1ER.
  Small buttons, well protected but require some effort in handling.
  Relatively low tone of alarm, hourly notifications, etc.
  The night illumination lasts relatively short, but you can set it to automatic (with hand movement), so it lights up whenever you need it without pressing buttons.

  Many others have written and said about the GW-5610-1ER & GW-5610-1BER:
  "If I had to choose to have only one watch, this would be the winner."
  "The only watch you will ever need."

  As the days go by, I think they are absolutely right as it has already become my everyday favorite.

  The watch is amazing! It has features such as automatic time adjustment with radio waves and it never loses a second. 5 alarms, automatic backlight, and it operates on solar energy. As for durability... It's a G-Shock, what else can you say. But what I like most is that it's not too big, nor is the strap too wide, and you can wear it without being bothered even when exercising or doing manual work. Also, despite the dark dial, the time is displayed quite well.
