    Decent lens, manual focus with smooth rendering. Heavy for its size, with the rings having relative resistance. At f1.8, the image is soft, video is okay, but for photography, you need to be above f2.8 to get good results. Focus peaking setting is necessary, otherwise it's difficult, especially during the day, to tell where the focus is unless the objects of interest are close. Good depth of field, bokeh balls have a strong character, as well as flares. I wouldn't buy such a cheap lens again, but the camera feels more solid and has a better image with it. Also, in timelapse, the battery lasts for at least 8 hours since AF and IS are not used.
