For the money, it is a mediocre air conditioner.
2 years of use (I noticed that it is the same as the current supreme).
Its plastics make expansion and contraction noises, which is okay.
The internal fan started making noises from the first year and does not have a consistent noise, meaning there are very small fluctuations per unit of time.
Very good cooling and heating though. Powerful 18,000 BTU.P.S.: I am writing again about the heating, the machine is excellent in terms of warmth. It does not blow cold air when it starts, it changes the direction of the air to not bother you. Overall, it does an exceptional job, you don't notice anything because of the uniformity of the air it emits.

One positive aspect is that at the low level, which is sufficient for the 9 m2 room, it is really quiet. On the negative side, the external unit was vibrating, resulting in a muffled noise. I am running it at 26 degrees and the cooling spreads throughout the entire house! It is truly powerful and quiet! P.S. A piece of information about the noise of the outdoor unit! Indeed, I noticed after a few days that the outdoor unit was making noise. I investigated a bit and found out that the noise comes from the plastic cover of the fan. They have only put one screw to hold it, so when the motor is running, it creates a slight vibration that is not visible to the naked eye. So, I cut a small piece of cardboard and wedged it between the plastic cover and the metal, and the noise stopped immediately! Now that I have found the source of the noise, maybe I will put a piece of rubber for better results. Anyway, apart from this flaw, the air conditioner is incredibly good at cooling!

The air conditioner is from the company Midea. Inventor put their name on it and provides the warranty. Midea is a good company and I hope that Inventor is also okay with the warranty.
+ It was mainly purchased for the 10-year warranty and a 24,000 BTU unit was installed for cooling 70 square meters. I was ready to buy the toyotomi izuru but I didn't like that the warranty was only 2 years for electronics and 5 years for the compressor.
+ The outdoor unit was installed on the terrace so that I wouldn't have any noise issues, but in the end, it didn't make much noise anyway. If you have any noise issues, it's usually the compressor touching something in the outdoor unit, so take a look here: [link provided]. The fan of the outdoor unit is made of plastic, so it won't make noise due to being misaligned, but it might come loose. It takes 5 minutes to fix it.
- I am satisfied with the heat it produces, but I would have liked the indoor unit to have a slightly quieter fan. During the day, it's fine, but at night when the noise level drops, it stands out. (-0.5 star)
- The filters that come with the device are not really useful. I thought they were samples based on their size (yellow, blue, black in the photo). They are just for marketing purposes, and unfortunately, this kind of misleading marketing is unacceptable. If you are thinking of buying it because it has filters, stay away! (-1 star)
- The app is also from Midea, so it might work without any changes with their air conditioners. It's nothing special. Nevertheless, the app can open/close it remotely, which is something I wanted. Like with all other smart devices, I want an API to be able to control it with my own application because after 5-7 years when the manufacturer shuts down the servers, this feature will become useless. Also, it is currently a backdoor in my network, as someone malicious could gain access to the servers and use the AC to find and exploit vulnerable devices in home networks or create a blackout. + The 24,000 BTU unit requires a 3x2.5 wire from the electrical panel and a 16A fuse, so ask if the technician who will come will install it for you or if you need to hire an electrician. The installation cost me 120€ + 30€ VAT for 4 meters of piping and 40€ for the electrical wire. In other words, 190€. The 18,000 BTU unit does not require a wire from the panel, so you can save the 40€ if you don't need the extra 9,000 BTU.
+ The power consumption at full load is approximately 2300W, and when it reaches the desired temperature, it drops to 650W. The consumption depends on the temperature difference; if it's 40°C outside and you have it set to 20°C, it will struggle and consume around 2000W+. On the contrary, if it's 30°C outside and you have it set to 23°C, it will reach the lower consumption after a while, around 650W.
If you are between 12,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU, go for the 18,000 BTU unit as it has a larger outdoor unit and is therefore more efficient for the same cooling. It will pay off in terms of electricity consumption over time. The 24,000 BTU and 18,000 BTU units have the same outdoor unit, but the 24,000 BTU unit has a more powerful compressor. Unfortunately, because they have the same outdoor unit, the 24,000 BTU unit is less efficient when running at full capacity. It certainly has the advantage that it can cool more, while consuming the same as the 18, when it is under the same thermal load. So if you have 50+ square meters, you must go for the 24 or install it above a unit, otherwise, for under 50, buy the 18.
+ Insist on having them install a 2.5-meter or longer pipe. It is explicitly stated in the installation manual, and they could refuse to provide warranty because it was not installed correctly. If you place it close, for example, 2 meters away, they will mess it up, they know what they should do, they just try to take those extra 7-8 euros from you.
+ For distances over 5 meters, the technician should add R32 liquid, it is also stated in the installation manual, do not accept the "it works just fine like this" or "I have been a refrigeration technician for so many years...". Give them the manual and tell them that it says here what they should do.
+ For proper vacuuming, it requires a 2-stage vacuum pump and a quarter with 45 minutes to reach 500 microns (= 0.67 millibar). The quick 2-minute vacuum with only one stage pump and 2 minutes for leak testing is not a serious job. The humidity and oxygen that will remain inside will cause you problems, so when you call, ask what equipment they will use. I had to go through 8 technicians until I found one who knew, so there are others out there, but it requires a little searching.
Regarding this, it should be mentioned that the absolutely correct procedure is to pull a vacuum, fill the system with nitrogen, and pull a vacuum again so that no air or moisture remains inside. Unfortunately, I have not found a technician who can do this.+ Do not forget to ask for an installation certificate (from a certified technician). It is needed for the warranty. Something will break in the next decade.

One year later and my experience is... Take it without fear! I can't understand why it might not work for someone. At least until now, I have been satisfied both in cooling and heating during the winter, with slightly better results in cooling where the entire living room becomes cool in just 10 minutes with the 1st or 2nd level rarely. The Wifi application works flawlessly, as you can connect and turn it on before returning home and have the perfect climate. I think it's all about the settings you make, the insulation of the space, and the correct estimation of the BTUs you choose for your space. I believe that if I had bought the 18, for example, it wouldn't have ultimately covered me the way I wanted. It was installed in a space of about 50-60 square meters, a unified living-dining room with an open kitchen next to it. The outdoor unit seemed a bit big to me, but we're talking about a 24, and it's also a bit noisy due to the fan. If you leave the window slightly open, you can hear a hum, but it's not bothersome at all once you close it, so we're probably talking about reasonable noise levels for these BTUs.

Purchase 08/02/21-24000 BTU at €840. Installed in a well-insulated 110 sqm apartment where the bathrooms and rooms are separated by a sliding door from the living room-kitchen. The indoor unit is right across from this door. By closing it, it turns 55 square meters into an oven in 10 minutes at 27 degrees Celsius on the maximum fan setting. Then, on the auto mode, I open the door and it heats up the rest of the house satisfactorily without turning it into an oven unless I leave it on the maximum setting for an hour or so. I am puzzled by the comments about Boeing 737, Airbus 321, etc., as it is not at all noisy in my case. At first, I was curious and stood under the outdoor unit to see what I would hear, frightened by the comments... The noise is minimal, with the silence mode, it is almost inaudible. Wi-Fi installation is easy by following the steps and knowing the codes unless you are elderly and not good with technology. The app didn't work for one day. The other 30 days of the month were fine. Note that the wall where it was installed was full of holes from other units from other tenants, but there was no noise problem. The plastic parts creaked in the first week, sporadically due to sudden temperature changes. I was expecting much better, as it seemed to be of good quality construction and the technicians who installed it asked me how much I paid for it. I used it for a month for cooling and it performed well, although there was initially an annoying high-pitched noise that went away when the machine settled. The plastic parts did not make the noise that some people claim. However, the disappointment came with the heating function. The machine acts like a switch - as soon as it reaches the supposed heating temperature, it completely shuts off and even closes the air outlet (WTF?). As soon as the temperature drops, it opens the air outlet again (making noise), starts up, and accelerates with a burst of noise... and it starts all over again. Overall, I avoid using it for heating at night because it doesn't let me sleep.
The big problem is that the temperature it measures inside fluctuates, this is only evident from the mobile app as the screen only shows the temperature you have set as desired and not the actual temperature. Yes, I know, other devices do that too, but a fifteen-year-old air conditioner shows the actual temperature, I can't understand why the Chinese changed it like that. Anyway, it produces temperature from its imagination, it claims to be 26 degrees and I'm shivering. They operate completely silently for cooling and are very satisfactory. If you activate the ionizer function, you will have an incredible clean atmosphere inside your house. You will notice this when you enter from outside and see the difference. Meanwhile, they cool the entire house, despite being units placed in the bedrooms.
For heating, they also operate satisfactorily, but the noise from the external unit becomes noticeable. We activate the sleep function at night, so it doesn't bother us.
I bought these units for 900€ (450€ each) and I have no regrets at all. I had concerns about whether the units would meet my needs, but it seems that I made the best choice for our house.P.S. The only negative aspect is the WiFi function, which I cannot synchronize with anything. The Inventor application is malfunctioning.

Purchased from a local store for 677€. I am referring to the 18,000 BTU Inventor Premium. I installed it on Friday in a space of 35-45 square meters. On the first day, I had it running for several hours at 27-28 degrees to get the house to a good temperature, and once that was achieved, I kept it steadily at 24-23 degrees. At night, I put it on sleep mode and wake up to a healthy home with a temperature of 22 degrees. Finally, the use of the dehumidifier has stopped!
In the next wave of bad weather, I will come back, as now its performance is relatively easy. I am in an area of Attica, so I wasn't looking for something too powerful. I don't know if it would cover in difficult conditions outside Attica, and this may be one of the factors that play a role in negative reviews. Although I was somewhat concerned about the comments regarding noise, I also read very good reviews about the company's customer service, even with full replacements or after the ten-year warranty expires. It is a company that cares about the opinion of its consumers and has understood the importance of it. That's why it is gaining ground against other well-established companies. I have spoken with the company several times, they probably remember me :P, and this was to make sure 1) about their helpfulness, 2) about the reasons that make the machine noisy and if I will have a problem, and 3) in case of any issues, if they will take action.
As far as I was told, the 18,000 BTU model never had any noise issues. In other cases, upgrades were made and customers were covered, or sometimes there was an issue with the installation.
Regarding the installation now, some basic rules:
1) The indoor unit should be placed 10-15 centimeters below the ceiling.
2) Use fixed brackets for the outdoor unit, not foldable ones.
3) Install anti-vibration rubber pads (optional, but why not!).
4) The length of the pipe should be at least 2.5-3 meters.My installation went wrong. From the 80 euros that I had agreed with the technician for a pipe up to 3 meters, the additional 2 meters cost me an extra 50 euros, and together with VAT, we reached a total of 150 euros!! So, don't rely on the initial price.
The good thing is that anti-vibration rubber pads were installed, and even if there was a possibility of noise, I can't hear ANYTHING! It sounds like a light fan, or even less! The indoor unit is not audible, except if I put it on turbo mode, and we're talking about an almost imperceptible sound during the day.
The wifi connected and works just fine. If there's something that bothers me, it's the blind that goes up as soon as it reaches the set temperature and doesn't come back down, even though I always want it down.
I would easily buy it again!

As consumers, let's make sure we know a thing or two about why installation is important and whether it is done according to the manufacturer's specifications, as it can significantly reduce the performance of the air conditioner we are purchasing. Nowadays, installation information is available on the websites of most manufacturers.
In general, it is true that the refrigerant piping cables should be at least 3 meters long, maybe 2.5 meters. The minimum! If the distance is longer and they exceed that length, then you have to pay extra. However, if the distance between the indoor and outdoor units is short, then the extra meters simply form a circle of specific specifications, that's it. Emphasize this to your technician as many of them try to take advantage and give you only 1 or 1.5 meters, even though you are paying for 2.5-3 meters, which are the minimum installation specifications. And then you leave negative reviews. First, check your installation. Many factors contribute to performance, so ensure proper installation first and ask the manufacturer you are interested in before making a purchase, so they can tell you what to look out for, as especially what I mentioned above is a common phenomenon, I would say in 90% of cases, and it's a shame that they don't realize they are deceiving people who rely on their expertise.

So far, I have only used it for heating and it has a very good performance, so I will only comment on the noise. I was ready not to buy it because of negative comments about the noise, especially from the outdoor unit. However, since I found it on sale with free installation, I ended up buying it and it is actually very quiet, both inside and outside, compared to the other 2 units I have in the house, which are relatively new. What can I say, maybe the installation is to blame for some people, otherwise it doesn't make sense. And of course, its positives include the price and the 10-year warranty.

With excellent sound insulation and of course closed windows (soundproof), you perceive it, it's like the takeoff or descent of an aircraft. I bought it because of the 10-year warranty it offers (I registered it on the page mentioned in the user manual) and also based on a recommendation from someone who installs air conditioners.
I bought the 9,000 BTU for a 12-14 sqm room in a building from 1982 with insulation that is typical for that time. The only intervention was the new windows with aluminum frames and double glazing.
The cooling is excellent, if it doesn't go on automatic mode, I set it to the lowest setting (with a sheet and a thin bed cover, otherwise it gets too cold!) and use a timer for two hours.
The noise levels vary for each person. As for me, the low setting is almost silent, the medium setting is tolerable, and I think the high setting is meant to cool the room quickly, it's not suitable for sleeping.
As for the outdoor unit, I have it on a base on the terrace floor and I simply don't hear it working. I think in older houses, if it is installed on the wall, it will make more noise due to poor insulation.
The WiFi works with the app that you download and you can operate it with 4G or with the home WiFi. I think the app needs a more attractive user interface and sometimes it may freeze. There is also a possibility that after a major update, the air conditioner may be lost and you will need to reconnect it to the app.
There is a bright indicator on the indoor unit that shows the temperature and it also functions as a night light for the room (you have the option to turn it off from the remote control).
As for the remote control, it is very good with the only note that sometimes I have pressed the ON/OFF button twice to start or stop it. I haven't figured out why it does that, it's like the remote control activates and then sends the command with the second press.
Finally, the plastic parts are of good quality in the average category. They don't make noise, they don't creak after cooling and when it shuts down. Unfortunately, I haven't tested it for heating to comment on that (waiting for winter).
I consider it to be a good investment for an air conditioner, I have no regrets at all and I wouldn't hesitate to get the 12,000 BTU for the living room.

And the internal unit also makes noise. I have never encountered such a thing before. Additionally, something strange happened to me: I turned it off and I couldn't even leave the room before the external unit started working on its own, only the external unit, the internal one remained closed. I waited about 5 minutes to see what would happen, and eventually I pressed the on/off button to open the internal unit, and I pressed it again to close it, and luckily it stopped. In terms of cooling, it cools quickly. I haven't tried heating yet, but if the problems are not fixed, it cannot be used. What's the point if it cools quickly but gives us a headache due to the noise?
