I don't like the writing style at all. It scratches the paper like a fountain pen. It's a matter of taste, of course, but I prefer it to glide. I suspect that it may also get stuck on poor quality or recycled paper. Other than that, it's a tasty pen. The classic one we know from Parker.

I ended up with this specific Parker after trying many in the mid-range category of 10-30 euros. It is the best, the writing is excellent. The ink does not work well on glossy paper
