This study briefly unfolds the complexity of the concept of psychological trauma and its unexpected consequences, both in the life of the analyzed person and in the psychoanalytic process, with the help of clinical examples. It also shows how much attention and seriousness the analyst must approach a mentally traumatized person who, often living in a fog of power, success, and self-confidence, deep down feels alone and fragile.
