The reason I gave 1 star to a simple cable is also simple. The cable I received does not make good contact at the male end. It does not fit tightly and also makes noise with the slightest movement (like scratching or crackling). I tested it with 2 other cables of mine and did not have the same problem. I may have received a defective one, but I expected better from a branded cable and not a no-name one. I won't return it because it's not worth the hassle for 1 euro.
