We reserved seat 7A for you. The most dangerous seat on the plane.
The distinguished psychiatrist Mats Kruger is forced to overcome his fear of airplanes when his pregnant daughter Nele asks him to travel from Argentina to Germany.
Having attended a seminar on dealing with aerophobia, Mats boards the transatlantic flight Buenos Aires-Berlin. Soon, however, he will realize that he prepared for the wrong fears: What awaits him is neither turbulence, nor engine failure, nor any terrorist threat.
A phone call from a stranger reveals to him that an old patient of his is on the same flight. A patient with violent, murderous fantasies whom he is now called upon to incite to do the unthinkable; to lead to the death of the six hundred passengers of the flight as well as himself, otherwise Nele will meet a tragic death...
The human mind, a weapon that cannot be detected by any control in the world!

It's a shame that in his effort to constantly release books, he doesn't know how to "close" them. Until shortly before the end, it held the reader's interest like the good old days in his first books... and suddenly, from a certain point onwards, it becomes a jumble of hasty images, like those seen in a dream that takes you to the couch... nightmares seen while dozing off in the middle of a thriller movie, while milk, airline ticket, and baby diaper commercials play... disappointment! It's the first time that I didn't care to find out what happened in the end. And when I read it until the end, it was so, so far below expectations...
Awesome psychological thriller, easy to read with many twists, it captivates you, I read it in 2 days, I recommend it!
Very nice book. Easy to read with a nice plot. It is enjoyable to read even though it is not one of those books that you get hooked on and say I will read it in one day.
Well-written book that unfolds simultaneously in 2 locations. It keeps your interest and is easy to read.
Quite a nice plot, it keeps your interest throughout. The ending may have a touch of exaggeration. However, for fans of the genre, it is an enjoyable read.
I am new to the world of this particular author. I come from the Stephen King circle, whose books and writing style I adore. However, I have a little problem. The ending. Both authors (new to Fitzek but I read five of his books in a month) somehow need to improve their endings. This specific book is indeed a page-turner. It doesn't have unnecessary scenes, it doesn't have lulls. But in the end, the "dull" prevails.
A fantastic adventurous thriller that unfolds in two different parts simultaneously. It keeps you in constant suspense until the end
A good book... a story that makes you think, a mystery that you don't know how it will end. However, its ending didn't excite me... I was expecting something more thrilling.
Very good book, equally well-written. I highly recommend it, except for people who have fears of abduction, surveillance, and airplanes
Very well written, I read it in 2 days! I just don't recommend it for people who have any fears of airplanes ☺️
