Hubris is not a legal term, because if it were, it could be defined and institutionalized as a prohibitive law (illegality, injustice). Hubris itself is tragic, because it cannot be defined, we do not know when we enter it, that is why it cannot be forbidden, but it can be represented (tragedy) and through catharsis lead to wisdom and prevention.

Passions are subject to catharsis and not to purification or abolition.

We are all toys in the hands of time: our time will end and time will consume us. However, it is in our hands to "injure" and "stigmatize" time with creation, as the pen of Sophocles and the chisel of Phidias did.
