The texts of this volume express the "spirit of our time," with the evolving sense of the term. As a professor of Political Philosophy, the author attempted through his writings to identify the factors (historical, social, political, etc.) that played a leading role in the establishment of the "technocratic memorandum regime." This "post-political" regime of memoranda has not been theoretically explored for two reasons: firstly, politics itself continues to be defined within the framework of old-party politics (clientelism and corruption), and secondly, the theoretical thinking about the formation and functioning (i.e. political science) lacks new, contemporary tools for philosophical processing of the political present.
In conclusion, if as a political society we do not realize that democracy and "memoranda" are things that cannot even be minimally integrated into dialectical mediation, then we will always find ourselves at the "zero point" of politics.
