The gas grills from Outdoorchef are characterized by the innovation of the round pot. The Swiss company has developed the Easy Flip funnel system, which allows for the absorption of fat without the annoying flare-ups and makes cleaning the grill easier.

As soon as it arrived and I saw how small it is, I was afraid that I wasted my money. Plus, the "indirect/direct" blurry landscape that worried me from the beginning. However, with the first grilling, I was completely satisfied.
The grill is for 2-3 people, and not big eaters at that. If you have time for a second batch, of course, you can sit all day grilling. I grilled 3 medium to large pork chops and one sausage at once. They fit almost perfectly. Without the sausage, it could fit a fourth one. If I had gotten thicker cuts, I would have told them to trim the fat.
There is an important peculiarity in the grill. The fire never hits the grill at all points, but only in the center when doing direct grilling. When doing indirect grilling, the flame covers the entire grill and the temperature spreads evenly, like an oven. Therefore, it doesn't work with the logic of filling the grill with pieces and grilling them. Unless, of course, you prefer oven steaks, then you can easily grill them indirectly, just as they give instructions for thick pieces, whole chickens, etc.
So, I started with direct grilling in the center of the grill. There, one or two steaks fit, not whole ones. It takes about 15-20 minutes for 4 steaks to get color. The heat was unexpectedly strong. I don't have experience with classic gas grills.
As soon as I finished, I moved each steak towards the periphery, where there was minimal fire, and continued with the next one. When they were all done, I lowered the fire to 2 out of 3, and let them cook with the lid closed around the grill so I didn't have to flip the cone.
Of course, one can flip the cone at this point (only with fireproof gloves), so the entire surface of the grill is available for indirect grilling. Thus, it could fit even more at the end.
More flavorful than charcoal. Nice color on the outside, juicy inside. Additionally, since at the end, you don't need to flip them, any fat that the steak releases stays on its surface and keeps it juicier.
In short: at the beginning, it requires all your attention and work, and you have to be on your feet. You give color to the steaks one by one or every two in direct grilling (it can't fit more). Then, you grill them slowly for another 5-10 minutes in indirect grilling, so they reach the desired internal temperature. That's when you relax.
I grilled for the first time and it was tens of times better than my husband's, who has been grilling on charcoal for years and they are almost always dry.
After a year and since I got it at half price, I can say that the grill is amazing. You don't have to think about anything, you just season, marinate, light it up, wait 4 minutes for it to heat up, lower the intensity, cover it, and after keeping track of the time, you don't have to worry about anything else, you just wait.
Keep in mind that it takes time and grilling to get the hang of it, but it's really worth it.
Consider that it takes almost double the grilling time compared to charcoal, but it keeps the food juicy.
After 1.5 months of ownership and several grilling sessions with all kinds of meat (beef, pork, fish, vegetables, chicken), I can say that I only regret one thing. I should have bought the larger one right away! It was initially purchased to replace an electric bbq, so I chose the smaller model. In the end, I discovered that it surpasses both the electric and the large charcoal bbq, so I should have gotten the bigger one to eliminate the need for everything else. I declare myself impressed and truly smile when I think about the initial dilemma I had regarding BBQ: electric or gas. As for this specific device, it reaches 350 degrees in 7-8 minutes and the cast iron takes care of the rest. In 10-20 minutes, you have grilled almost everything. Easy to clean, almost zero ignitions... The only thing I don't know is its durability over time. Excellent!
