When Eva, a young child psychologist, is hired for her first job, all she wants is to apply everything she learned while earning so many A's at university. However, the tender relationship that develops between her and one of the "children of silence," who is considered a "given" case at the "Blue Butterflies," leads her down different paths. The conflict with the director of the Institution, her idol and platonic love from her student years, as well as with herself, is inevitable. Entirely unprofessionally and ideologically, with only her boyfriend Theofilos as her supporter, she embarks on a struggle to overturn scientific truths and data for this child, groping and finding hope with the stubbornness of youth and the eyes of her soul alone.
