    It arrived with one broken button that you turn on the side to adjust the temperature. I ordered this because I had a previous model from the same company that heated the room very well, but this one is no comparison. I do not recommend this specific one!!

    It was purchased to replace a hail stove of the same wattage (and at half the price). Its heat output is half that of the hail stove. Otherwise, it is as described, but I was expecting it to emit more heat. It did not satisfy me particularly.

    We bought 2 heaters as the sole heating for our 82 sqm house with very good insulation. We placed them at the two ends of the house and they heat perfectly. I don't have an opinion on the power consumption yet, but for now, they are worth their money. It would be helpful if they had handles for transportation since we don't use the wheels due to having a small child.

    EDITED 24/1/22 bad weather Hope (The electric bill didn't come expensive last year in the quarter with DEI, the final amount went from 110 to 180 with the following adjustments and it was around 60 in the second month compared to the previous final amount)... of course, the electricity was cheaper back then - 6/1/23 processing for electric reference)
    Same as the united uhm 876 (white)... up to 25 sqm under weather conditions & good insulation... micathermic heater with 2 levels 1000 & 2000 W... in my case, the first one produces 900W & the second one 1600W, it's not 2000.
    The sheet behind the protective grid is all Mica sheet (large and very thin) and on the back side, there is probably a metal sheet that is screwed to the large Mica.
    The resistor is the entire thin Mica sheet, if you look at the photo, the wires are connected on top of the Mica in a small square and from there, the entire sheet heats up/turns on.
    I have made a small modification on the side with white stickers because I couldn't see the thermostat & scale indicators clearly, they were black and not numbered correctly.
    Large stable strong legs with good wheels.
    The tip-over safety feature activates when it reaches around 45 degrees, it's very difficult to happen because the bases are wide and you have to fall on it to knock it down, you have to fall with it.
    It doesn't have a handle for easier transportation.
    On the second level, there is a slight buzzing sound when the Mica is working (close and only when it's completely quiet).
    In the one I received, after the thermostat shuts off, you can hear the large Mica sheet contracting as if deflating (complete silence) and sometimes it makes a clicking noise 1-3 times, the metal sheet contracts.
    EDIT: I tightened the 5 screws on the back of the metal sheet that support the Mica sheet when the heater was cold and another slight tightening when it was in operation (second level) and quite hot, and now the 1-3 clicks became 1.
    On the first level, after the tightening, there is absolutely no problem with clicking, it's silent in every sense.
    The back side doesn't heat up as much, you need to place it in a corner or at one end of the room so that it faces everywhere.

    In terms of humidity, I didn't see a significant decrease, only 1-4% lower, during the 4 hours I had it on (in essence, nothing if it's within 70-80%), with the thermostat set to a maximum of 3. These micathermic heaters don't emit as much hot air, so if you happen to have many consecutive rainy days, you need to consider this specific one in a room without insulation. I'm considering getting a simple convector in the future, the ones with the large resistance inside that emit hot air from the top.

    CAUTION, only the heater should be connected to the socket (no other devices).
    CAUTION, if you need an extension cord, make sure it can handle at least 16A-3500W. I used a simple extension cord and it heated up the cable as if it was going to melt, it softened it (on the high setting), luckily I didn't leave it for a long time.
    CAUTION, because the entire sheet heats up (and it's very large), the protective grid has holes, so stay away from glasses of water, coffee, soft drinks, etc., don't let them fall on the Mica sheet, it's expected that the sheet will ignite and if it gets wet, it will likely cause damage, maybe even a short circuit?

    If you use it as a supplementary device, provided you have removed moisture from elsewhere, such as a fryer or increased heating from a central radiator, air conditioner, etc., and you want to maintain heating levels without further drying the atmosphere, it is the most suitable, perfect and complete.

    If you have insulation or in an apartment building where there are other rooms, it may do a good job on its own, as I read several comments from other stores.

    If you smoke, this is the most suitable because it will not dry the air to burden it, it does not affect the atmosphere, it simply heats what is in front of it with the electromagnetic waves it emits.

    In Corfu, in a village 150m high and a house that is hit by the wind, in a room of 13.5 square meters WITHOUT insulation (when it has more than 4/5 Beaufort it smells a bit), it quickly raises the temperature the first time (within 3-5 minutes it gives full power).

    In the same room with a sliding door open 40 centimeters and the thermometer at 2 meters (I say this because I see that the heat goes better in front), it showed...

    --> 2000W, 7°C outside, 14°C inside, thermostat at 3 (out of 10 levels) went... 15 minutes on the first time / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off / 3 on / 3 off / 5 on / 3 off / 5 on, etc., increased by 2-3 degrees.

    --> 2000W, 9°C outside, 15°C inside, thermostat at 2.5-3, went... 10 on / 5 off / 6 on / 3 off / 4 on, etc., and again increased by 2 degrees.

    --> 1000W, 10°C outside, 15°C inside, thermostat at 2, went... 15 minutes on / 17 off / 10 on / 17 off / 15 on, etc., again increased by 2 degrees.

    UPDATE... Now that everything around has frozen (mountains of Albania & mountains of Epirus) and it is from 2-5°C for many nights with the room constantly ranging from 9-12°C, it increases by 3 degrees in 45 minutes and then struggles, barely maintaining the temperature it reached, so the room is lukewarm because I think 1600W is not enough with the extreme cold/freezing.

    So far, I have been playing with the thermostat at 2-4 (near where it makes the first click). If I play with the decimals, it reaches a range where I want it to cut more frequently.

    I haven't tried anything better for more than 1+ hour on the high scale and more than half of it at 6+ on the thermostat (not cutting frequently), I need to see if it does something better after it works continuously without cutting frequently.

    The 5 stars drop to 4, not because it is a bad heater, but because outside with 2-5 degrees freezing with air, without insulation, if I turn off any heating, the room starts freezing again in half an hour, and with the door slightly open, which lets in some cold from the other rooms, it raises the temperature (on the high scale). What else can you ask for... but the main thing for me is not 2000W, it is 1600W which I think is not enough compared to at least 2000W that I wanted in my case because I already have something at 1500W and I wanted something more powerful (yes, 400W more can make a difference)... However, it does the job, it would be better if it was a bit more powerful.

    However, compared to a 7-fin oil heater with the same wattage of 1500W (600/900/1500), the Mika is better because it heats up much faster, is more powerful, and distributes the heat better in front rather than on top like the oil heater. Before the freezing temperatures hit, when it was around 10-14 degrees Celsius at night, it kept me warm, and the 1000W setting easily broke the cold.

    As for the electricity bill, I still don't know, but it doesn't seem as economical compared to the oil heater, which cuts the heating time in half compared to what I mentioned earlier when it's on the high setting for both.

    EDIT 24/1/22: With the bad weather "Elpida" outside at -2 degrees Celsius here in Corfu with snow (yes, it reached us too), it was 9 degrees Celsius inside. It took 15 minutes to increase the temperature by one degree (from 2-5 degrees Celsius), but now it takes 20-25 minutes at the beginning of the first heating cycle in a freezing room... It's not a stove issue, it's just how it performs. I also tried a Primo PRCH-81019 (I have a review) which is also 2000W, and this one is the best option for me in terms of 2000W... with the door completely closed and thick curtains, they perform better. Outside at -2 degrees Celsius, both heaters increase the temperature in 10-15 minutes (and needless to say, if I turn off the heating, the room starts freezing again in half an hour)

    It is very good, I have been using it since November when the cold started and I am satisfied! It quickly heats up the room (about 40 sqm: living room-kitchen combined). I did not notice a significant increase in the bills, beyond the usual amounts, as every winter anyway... The device has wheels and is easily portable. I recommend it!
