Description

"Prisoners of Nightmare" is a collection of satirical horror stories that aim to entertain you, after first leading you through the thorny and dark paths of a troubled dream. Our journey takes place in the labyrinthine depths of the human soul, where insatiable secrets and irrational fears of our existential existence coexist. It is where realism merges with nightmare and life intertwines with pain, arousing passions that will ultimately free the Prisoners from the chains of their primordial irrationality... In "Night Walks and Starlight," we witness the terrified efforts of a same-sex couple to not only save their relationship, which is in crisis, but also their own lives from the deadly danger that unexpectedly and threateningly strikes the bell of their routine. In "Struggling with Myself, Under the Light of Darkness," we become witnesses to the psychological struggle taking place in the inner world of human sensitivities. In "Masters and Slaves," we are transported to the ancient civilizations of opulence, to meet some slaves who try to steal a few minutes of respite from the repeated misery of their everyday lives. In "The Curse of the Black Cat," we burst into tears of pity for the clumsy and futile efforts of a young suitor to win the affection of his beloved's wicked cat. Meanwhile, in "I Die to See Your Collection," we sneak, along with the aspiring thief, secretly into the apartment of the twisted old woman to admire her precious and rare collections, which are covered in cobwebs in the shelves of her aged vanity..."
